Three days passed by fast. Taehyung was really busy those days. He went to the orphanage with ice cream, and the kids were ecstatic. They all played and talked. For about half an hour, they giggled about Jungkook and his beauty. Taehyung had to fight down his guilt to keep staying there as the kids spoke on innocently. They asked him to meet their Kookie again, but Taehyung figured Jungkook wouldn't pick up his call. So, he promised them that they could see Jungkook on their wedding. The little ones were obviously invited. Then, he heard an earful from Jisoo about hiding such a cute fiancé from her. He wouldn't have if he knew his fiancé was cute. Hell, he doesn't even know what he looks like, apart from Channie's comment about him looking like a bunny.
Then, the next day, he was jampacked with work, as the company had an offday on his wedding. So, they had extra work on those days. He barely got time to eat lunch. When he got home, he passed out on his bed. So, nothing except work crossed his mind.
Then came the day before the wedding. His bachelor party, as Jimin liked to call it, even though it was full of work partners and family. He had the most fun after the guests left, when it was just him, Jimin, Namjoon, and Seokjin.
He told them about him snapping at Jungkook, and Jin scolded him until his voice broke. Jimin was full on wasted and gave him a thumbs up. Namjoon told him to call Jungkook and apologise since tomorrow is their wedding, but Jungkook didn't pick up. Seokjin said he might be busy, but Taehyung wasn't a fool. Jungkook was still mad at him. After his failed attempt on calling, Jimin started singing 'I'm just Ken' to comfort him and Namjoon sang along with multiple voice cracks, while Seokjin attempted to shove grapes in his mouth to shut him up.
Taehyung wondered how he found these idiots.
At last, it was the day everyone had been waiting for. Their wedding. The day Kim Taehyung was marrying Jeon Jungkook. Everyone was excited.
Taehyung stood in front of a large mirror, looking at his reflection. He had his wedding suit on, and a stylist was fixing his bow and cuffs. Taehyung could hear his heart's loud rapid beats. He was nervous. He hasn't spoken to his groom since that day, and he didn't know if Jungkook was still angry. The thought of seeing the younger for the first time made him excited as well as extremely nervous.
The stylist gathered his supplies and left the room after bowing at him. He turned to his best man, who was lounging on the sofa with his phone. A mortified expression rested on his face.
"What's wrong?" Taehyung asked. Jimin looked up at him, and Taehyung felt dread. Jimin quickly shook his head and pulled on the fakest smile Taehyung has ever seen.
"Nothing! Are you okay? How are you feeling?" He stood up hastly, checking Taehyung's suit and brushing at his shoulders.
"Jimin, stop." He ordered. His best friend stopped his fumbling and met Taehyung's eyes. "What's going on?" He pried. Jimin sighed.
"Jungkook is still not ready, so we'll take some time." He said. Taehyung raised an eyebrow, still not convinced.
"What else?" Jimin shifted under his gaze and finally sighed, accepting defeat.
"Okay, fine. I don't want to freak you out, but Namjoon saw Yoongi taking Jungkook to the changing room, and he had blood on him." He explained with worry. Taehyung's eyes flew wide.
"What the fuck? Is he okay?" He asked. Worry and fear clawed at his stomach. He prayed internally that it wasn't Jungkook's blood. Then, he retracked and prayed it wasn't anyone's blood.
"I don't know. Namjoon went to ask, but his bodyguards stopped him and said everything was fine." He sighed. Taehyung also let out a deep exhale. The bodyguards could've been lying, but Taehyung was in no shape to harbour more worries.
