Ciarra's pov

I was waken up by the sun's scorching rays. Its hotness caressing my face and some of my uncovered body. I can recall that I mindlessly didn't bother to close the blinds before I sleep so I am now experiencing the madness of the sun, which is a very careless move since I woke up in the middle of the day. Despite the heat, I stay still—lying in the bed and eyes closed while hugging a cushion—feeling the serenity of the room.

Feeling both the hotness of the sun and blow of the air-conditioning—which lessens the sun's heat—succumb my being. Like every other morning, Kira's voice filled my ears, this time she's singing 'come what may' by air supply. Not minding how bad her singing voice is, I marvelled the comfort it gives me.

The room—my home is noiseless just like how I wanted it to be. I can only hear the melodic sound of the calm waves, the gushed of the wind, and the bird's chirping. I breathe in and out with contentment, cherishing the peacefulness of being alone because for sure I wouldn't be able to do this later.

Being alone is really so soothing, that is why I am addicted to it.

I let the nature's noise consume my being for a few more minutes before I finally decided to open my eyes. I smile as I am greeted by a very pleasing scenery. Facing my bed, there's a huge sliding door that overviews the tranquil sea and a tranquil sky. The cool color of seafoam green sea sparkled like a most expensive diamond due to the rays of sun while it moved like a paid seductress, its every wave was encouraging to be swim at.

I can't help but to feel proud and joyous about owning this place. I feel so lucky that this very place belongs to me—the unrealistic landscape and seascape which will make one and all's mandible hang with astonishment.

The very first time I laid my eyes on this place, it piqued my interest and I feel like I am bound to be here, which led me to owning this paradise.

I always love and admire the scenery—the almost always tranquil seafoam green sea, the white sand, the falls, the precipice, the clouds, the rising of the sun, the sunset, the moon, the steorra, the night sky, and the woodland. I certainly will never get tired of spending my time just watching them. And above all, its silence never failed to calm me.

I stood up and walk closer to the sliding door in the scud, not minding the circumambient.

No one will really see me here, I am totally alone. I don't even have a neighbor, of course, I bought the entire circumambient areas just to have this peaceful life.

Without fail, the summer makes me wear nothing, even at night. I reached out my robe then wear it due to the hotness outside before opening the sliding door which led me to the balcony.

Once more, habitually, my breathing became steady and calmer. And my shoulder, arms, and hands hang comfortably.

I got closer to the balustrade to have a closer look and I admire the view as the sun toasted my skin. There's this tranquil sea in front which where my swan yatch is freely bobbing along the tiny waves with my three other small yatch.

Marveling this place is like my drugs-my addiction for I can't stop admiring and appreciating the view. No one and nothing can surpass the feeling it gives me—the comfort. It alleviates my emptiness and is saving me from the loud and chaotic beings. This place is my escape, my cure, and my home.
