Chapter 2 | Annoying

"C'mon gorgeous, why are you trying to run away from me like this? Let's just enjoy our free time." Just as Jaehyun leaned closer, the bell rang, indicating the start of another period.

Sungho sighed to himself in relief. As he looked at Jaehyun, he could see Jaehyun groaning in annoyance. But there was a hint of something more..........sadness?

"Aww man, what a bummer. Guess we'll have to part our ways now." Jaehyun pouted like a little kid who lost their favourite toy. 'He kinda looks cute.' Sungho thought to himself. 'Wait, what am I even thinking?' Sungho quickly snapped out of his train of thoughts.

"What class do you have next, gorgeous?" Jaehyun suddenly asked as he retracted his hands from Sungho's waist. There was a hint of excitement in Jaehyun's voice. "Umm, English." Sungho nervously answered, thinking about what's going inside Jaehyun's head now.

Jaehyun's eyes brightened. "You mean English, as in Mr. Jung's class?" He asked excitedly. "Y... yeah?" Sungho answered, confused. But he exactly knew what Jaehyun was about to say next.

"Oh my! We share the same class! Can I walk with you to the class?"

That is exactly what Sungho thought.

Jaehyun asked like a cute little puppy. This man's duality is insane. Of course, Sungho couldn't say 'no' to Jaehyun. Not when he looks at him like this, with hopeful eyes. "Ok," Sungho sighed before answering.

Before Jaehyun could say anything else, someone started walking towards them angrily. "Yah! Myung Jaehyun! Can't you see that we're late? I waited for you for what felt like hours." It was Taesan, Jaehyun's best friend.

"Calm down, Taesannie. I was just talking to this gorgeous person over here." Jaehyun smoothly talked as he put an arm around Taesan's shoulder in a gesture of calming him down. But Taesan quickly removed Jaehyun's hand, clearly annoyed.

"Geesh, you're so annoying. And don't call me that, I don't like it." Taesan crossed his arms.

He then turned to Sungho with a knowing smirk. "Hello. You must be Sungho. It's a pleasure to meet you." Taesan bowed like a prince from a Disney movie.

"Ya! Stop being so cheesy." Jaehyun interrupted. "Says the one who literally had their arms around someone's waist." Taesan snapped back, making both Jaehyun and Sungho blush.

Jaehyun continued talking despite the deep shade of blush that had spread all over his face. "No need to bring that up now. Let's just head to our class." He hurried. "Shit, it's already ten minutes pass the period. We need to hurry." Taesan whined.

They hurried to the class, expecting Mr. Jung, their English teacher to already be there, but he has taken a day off. Sungho went to sit next to his best friend, Leehan, while Jaehyun and Taesan sat together beside them.

"Why did those two come with you?" Leehan asked, raising an eyebrow. Honestly, anyone would be curious if someone hung out with the college heartthrobs. Not only Leehan.

"You mean Jaehyun and Taesan? I came across them while I was coming to the class. So we decided to come together." Sungho said.

"Nothing special?" Leehan asked, suspicious about his friend. "Yup, nothing special." Sungho answered, trying to hide the nervousness that was growing inside him.

"I've known you for years. You can't lie to me. Also, the way that Jaehyun guy looks at you is kinda sus." Leehan gave a side eye to Jaehyun, who was lost in his own world. But Taesan caught Leehan just in time. He also gave Leehan a side eye before deciding to ignore it and take a nap.

Sungho couldn't help but laugh at their interaction. "Leehan-ah, there's nothing suspicious going on here. Let's just talk about something else, alright?" Sungho said as he tried to change the topic. Leehan decided to ignore this. For now.
