"No, but I genuinely feel so annoyed at the moment" Prachi said, pushing Jason away from her as she got up, pulling on her jacket in the cold weather, walking down to the beach
"You're one of the richest people I've met, and believe me, I've met several important people, and yet you always complain about being annoyed. It doesn't make sense!" Jason said, walking up to the female that stuck her tongue out at him
"You're annoying, that's why I'm annoyed" Prachi said, making her way to her car, she was in America, talking to Jason at the beach where she had been for the past three hours, the male had been a great friend since years and had understood her like no one
Prachi still remembered when three years ago she had ran into him drunk, all alone, and he had taken her to his place and helped her out without caring about himself even once
Jason was engaged to his girlfriend and would get married in the next two weeks and the one that was the most excited for it was Prachi, she had been the one that had prepared everything except the invitation cards, which Jason himself had written out for every single person that he so dearly cherished
"Prachi?" He said after getting in the car, sitting on the passenger seat as Prachi looked at him
"What?"
"Ranbir will be there at my wedding, are you sure you can handle it? I mean, I can ask my parents not to send him an invite, it hasn't yet reached his house and like I can cancel the courier" Jason said, making Prachi shake her head
"It's fine, I'm over everything, I don't need him anymore, and I don't think he can impact me too much, not anymore" Prachi said beeathing in heavily as the male smiled at her
"Drinks?" He asked, showing her the bottle of alcohol
"I'm driving, so no drinks. Besides, don't you have anything else to do? You're about to get married for God's sake!" Prachi muttered, making him keep the bottle back
"You're no fun"
"Only with you"
"But you still need to buy me a car!"
"I said I'd buy it once you get married, my gift to the married couple" Prachi said, smirking, making Jason glare at her
"Whatever."

It had been three years since she had seen Ranbir. She still remembered the last day she spent with him crisp and clear, her heart crumbling as the memories crashed back and her surroundings blurred out
-------FLASHBACK--------
Prachi walked inside the familiar building, and the receptionist greeted her with the same enthusiasm as she had the first time she saw Prachi, and Prachi felt her heart ease after noticing that the watch the beautiful female was wearing was from her latest designs
"Ma'am sir is in the meeting room at the moment" the young lady said as Prachi thanked her, making her way to the meeting room of Ranbir's office, her eyes landing on the man she so dearly loved and adored, and then it all came crashing down when he asked her to divorce two days before, she sighed glancing as the glass door where she could see her reflection, she was wearing a dark red dress which complimented her curves just fine
She didn't care whether the meeting was important or not when she opened the door and asked Ranbir to come out, she didn't bother to even look at the other six heads that turned towards her at the sudden interuptance in their important meeting
"Mr. Kohli, we did not come all the way here for you to leave the meeting halfway"
"Then you can go back! I have soem things to settle with my husband" Prachi said and looked at Ranbir once more as he stood up
