{•5•}Escaping

His thoughts were stopped by the ding of the elevator, he walked out behind Bruce. He looked around and took in his surroundings, to the left was an archery range, to the right there were punching bags, in the middle there was mats for sparring, and also in the middle was an obstacle course.
It looked easy compared to camp half bloods.

By this point it had only been a week, Nico sighed as the legacy of mars came up to him. " we're testing him right?" Natasha asked, Bruce nodded.

" fury wanted us to gather information on how to stop him if he gets out of control and test how powerful he is. We also can't let him out unless we know he's safe to be around others." Bruce answered.

Nico groaned, " do I really have to wait that long? I'm literally never around people! I just want to be left alone, how am I a danger if normal people can't even get to me? I only attacked him first because he threatened the graveyard and... killed people I knew." Nico said, his eyes watered up a bit at the last part but he forced himself to not cry.

Bruce sighed, " I wish I could, I believe you. but it's not my choice. It's fury's."

" then get me a meeting with him." Nico said, Bruce and Natasha looked at him with surprise.

" what?"

" get me a meeting with him, maybe I can negotiate something with him." Nico said.

Natasha pulled out her phone and called fury, " hey, the kid who killed Loki wants to have a meeting with you." Natasha said immediately, she was curious to see if he could actually persuade fury.

" that wasn't Loki, I've already explained this. that guy was only a demigod. You know you can't kill a god right? It's literally impossible, unless you strip away their godhood- which I can't do- they can't die. You guys seriously thought he was a god?" Nico said as he rolled his eyes.

" what's he talking about?" Fury asked.

" ask him yourself during the meeting, we'll do the test first then you guys can talk." Natasha said, fury agreed and then hung up.

They then started their assessment, " let's start with the obstacle." Nico nodded.

" are these supposed to be deadly or dangerous?" Nico asked.

Bruce gave him a weird look, " why would they-" before he could finish, Natasha cut him off.

" none of these are deadly, only the archery if that counts." She said, Nico nodded and did the obstacle in a good amount of time, " again." Natasha said, Nico glared a bit but did it again. he got the exact same time, " do it until you go full speed. You need to try." Natasha said.

Nico groaned and did it full speed this time. He broke the record by a few seconds. " happy?" Nico asked grumpily.

" sure. Now we're moving on to archery." Natasha said as she walked away, Nico took a deep breath and followed her, he rubbed his finger on the Apollo side of the coin. There was someone already practicing archery, the legacy of Apollo. He was super good.

Natasha walked up to him and said something but Nico wasn't paying attention, he looked over at the bows and grabbed one that was similar to one he had used before. Natasha gestured for him to start and he did okay, he shot three and got one bullseye, the other two were on the target but weren't bullseyes.

" you're good, have you done this before?" Clint asked, Nico didn't say anything, he just turned to Natasha.

" what's next." He demanded more than asked, Natasha showed him to the sparring ring, Clint looked annoyed that they both ignored him but went back to his shooting.
