EPISODE 8

One month later.

Jungkook woke up early, his heart racing with excitement. He couldn't wait to see Taehyung at school. He quickly got dressed and headed downstairs, trying not to make a sound so as not to wake up his parents, Jhope and Yoongi.

As he reached the kitchen, he saw his dad, Yoongi, preparing breakfast. "Morning, Jungkook!" Yoongi said with a smile. "Your dad, is still sleeping. Don't wake him up, okay?"

Jungkook nodded and grabbed his backpack. "I won't, Dad. See you later!"

He ran out the door, his heart skipping a beat at the thought of seeing Taehyung. He walked quickly to school, his mind filled with thoughts of their last conversation and the sweet smile Taehyung had given him.

As he entered the school gates.

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat as he watched Taehyung laugh and joke with his friends. He couldn't help but admire Taehyung's bright smile and captivating energy from afar. Jungkook felt a little shy and hesitant to approach him, not wanting to interrupt Taehyung's moment with his friends.

So, Jungkook stood there, observing Taehyung's charming interactions, his heart beating faster with each passing second. He couldn't help but think about how much he enjoyed Taehyung's company and how much he wanted to be closer to him.

As if sensing Jungkook's gaze, Taehyung turned around and caught his eye. Their eyes met for a brief moment, and Jungkook felt a rush of excitement. Taehyung smiled warmly and waved him over, motioning for Jungkook to join them.

He walked towards Taehyung and his friends, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. As he approached, Taehyung introduced him to his friends, and they welcomed him with friendly smiles.

Together, they headed to their first class of the day, chatting about their weekend plans and favorite TV shows. Jungkook couldn't help but notice how effortlessly Taehyung commanded attention and made everyone feel included.

they took their seats in class, Taehyung turned to Jungkook and whispered, "Hey, I'm glad we have most of our classes together. It's always more fun with you around!"

Jungkook's heart fluttered at the sweet comment, and he smiled back at Taehyung, feeling grateful for their blossoming friendship.

The lecture began, and they both focused on the teacher, but Jungkook couldn't help sneaking glances at Taehyung, admiring his focused expression and dreaming of the possibilities of their friendship growing into something more.

University activities teacher, Mr. Kim, announced, their project pairs  as follows: Jungkook and Taehyung, you're up first!"

Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise as he turned to face Taehyung, who was grinning at him with excitement.

Thank you for this unexpected surprise, fate! Jungkook thought to himself, trying to contain his excitement. He couldn't believe he got paired with Taehyung, the one person he had been trying to muster up the courage to talk to.

Taehyung walked towards Jungkook, a spring in his step. "Looks like we're partners, Jungkook! Let's make this project unforgettable!"

Jungkook's heart raced as he tried to play it cool. "Yeah, let's do this."

Mr. Kim handed them a folder containing their project details. "You two will be creating a promotional video for the university's upcoming festival. I expect great things from you both!"

they took the folder, their hands touched, and Jungkook felt a spark of electricity. He quickly pulled his hand back, trying to hide his reaction.

Taehyung noticed and chuckled. "Hey, don't be nervous, Jungkook. We're going to crush this project together!"

As they worked on their project, Jungkook's eyes drifted to Taehyung's open collar, revealing a glimpse of his chest. Jungkook's mind began to wander, and he found himself imagining what it would be like to kiss Taehyung.

His heart raced as he leaned in, his eyes fixed on Taehyung's lips. But just as he was about to make a move, Taehyung looked up, catching Jungkook's gaze.

For a moment, they locked eyes, the tension between them palpable. Jungkook's face flushed with embarrassment, and he quickly looked away, trying to compose himself.

Taehyung seemed oblivious to the almost-kiss, but Jungkook couldn't shake off the feeling that he had almost crossed a line. He tried to focus on the project, but his mind kept wandering back to the possibility of something more with Taehyung.

Taehyung's eyes sparkled with amusement, "Oh, Jungkook, you're checking out my strawberry lips?" He teased, his voice low and playful.

Jungkook's face grew hot with embarrassment, "N-no, I was just... uh... admiring your... um... project notes!"

Taehyung chuckled, "Save it, Jungkook! I know you were ogling my lips. And I have to say, I'm flattered."

He leaned in closer, his strawberry lips inches from Jungkook's, "Maybe we can even share a strawberry kiss?"

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat as he felt himself getting lost in Taehyung's playful gaze. He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to taste those strawberry lips...

He tried to play it cool, "Yeah, let's focus on the project. We don't want to miss the deadline."

Taehyung grinned, "Aww, come on Jungkook. Just one little kiss for good luck?"

Jungkook's face grew even hotter, "T-Taehyung, stop teasing me! Let's just work on the project."

Taehyung chuckled, "Okay, okay. But you're missing out on a great opportunity."

He turned back to the project, but Jungkook could sense Taehyung's eyes on him, still teasing him. Jungkook tried to concentrate, but his mind kept wandering back to those strawberry lips...

As they worked, the tension between them was palpable. It was clear that their friendship had reached a new level of flirtation, and Jungkook wasn't sure how to process it.
