"Your honour, Jeongsul company stole the concept of the product from Donggu company. We have sufficient evidence to prove this"

She whispered to her client and went through files sloppy
He nods his head, a hint of nervousness in his expression. He knows that she's relying on him for the factual information, and he's slightly intimidated by being in court He quickly responds to her
"Yeah...they bought the blueprints off of an employee who worked at our company"
Donghyuck then continues with his first statement by presenting the evidence. He pulls out a folder from the table in front of him, opening it to show a few of the blueprints of the product
"As you can see, your honour, here it shows that the blueprints clearly belong to Donggu company. The same blueprints we found on one of the employees device from Jeongsul company...which was clearly and illegally transferred over to them"
"Objection!" Areum says and stand up
Donghyuck looks over to her with slight amusement in his eyes. He knew that she would object to his statements, wich is something he expects every time. The judge looks at her as well, gesturing for her to continue
"Proceed"
"Jeongsul company started working on the blueprints in the year of 2018, that time employee 'Song' still worked at the company. Three years later 2021 he quit and made a copy of the blueprints and sold them to Donggu"
She states and walks over to the judges bench and gives him the blueprints with the dates and codes
Donghyuck's smirk falters slightly at her words. He expected her to bring up a counter argument, but he didn't think she would come up with a fact that would put his statement in question The judge looks at the evidence she gave to him and then back at her, a silent gesture to continue
"Keep going"
"Early 2022 Donggu came out with the product they stole from Jeongsul, making big profit out of it. Having only the copy of the blueprints but not the original ones"
Donghyuck smirk completely fades at her words now, his expression turning into something of annoyance and disbelief
He has never expected her to have an argument that can prove his first statement wrong
He stands still looking at her witch his jaw clenched
"Your honour, this is completely absurd-"
The judge interrupts Donghyuck before he can finish his sentence, gesturing for Areum to continue
Donghyuck looks at her and notices the smirk playing on her lips, which he finds incredibly irritating. He clenches his jaw tighter at her cocky expression, trying to keep his cool He takes a deep breath before looking back at the judge
