HIIII AUTHOR'S NOTE!!!
I watched this fuckin pre-schooler show and fell in love with the art and characters so guess what??? im gonna write a silly fic about them when they're in their early teens bc i love that there is next to zero lore which means i get to write my own!!!!!
Anyway don't expect shipping bc i personally think its weird to ship 8yos even if theyre aged up AND don't expect super heavy themes like violence or wtv. Most of the angst will come from that good ole "'Chosen One' child crumbles under the expectations placed upon her" variety!!
ALSO:. I've just been watching episodes at random on youtube so i have no idea which season I'm on or what I may have missed story-wise,, sorry in advance if you were hoping for a certain story beat or character to show up lmfaooo
ALSO ALSO:::: Zee, Grizelda, and True all share a birthday for LORE REASONS and are also all technically royalty!! Everything else is the same!
!!!
Anyway so if ur cool with allat,,, ENJOY!

As per usual, True's birthday was amazing. The King, the rainbow citizens, and, of course, Bartleby all attended the exciting birthday bash. There was cake, ice cream, balloons, presents, and much more. The three birthday kids - Zee, True, and Grizelda - all sat at the epicenter of the celebration, each opening their gifts one-by-one.
As True opened her last gift, an aborable friendship necklace that matched the one Girzelda was already wearing, she gasped at the beautiful design and color, "Thank you so much! I'll cherish it forever."
The princess nodded, "Of course you will, the color suits you perfectly!" She hummed as True put it on. As expected, the little half-heart pendant was the same deep blue color as her hair.
Grizelda then held up her half, which was a golden yellow, and completed the heart. In a little show of color magic, the pendant became a vibrant green.
The blue-haired hero smiled as Grizelda beamed with pride at her amazing display of friendship. Ever since they were eight, Grizelda gave Zee and True a present of some kind nearly every day. She told them that it was one of the best way to show one's appreciation.
Though she could be a bit full of herself at times, Grizelda was anything if not honest.
Zee stared at the little heart pendant in curiosity, "Ooh, that's very pretty. Where did you get it?"
"I told my grizmo's to mine the crystals for me, of obviously!"
"I see." The wish protector chuckled to himself. Of course. How else would she have acquired them?
True adjusted the pendant's position and stood up. Zee and Grizelda followed shortly, then they all linked hands. Behind them, a duo of yetis were already clearing out the mountain of gift wrappings and boxes.
"This has got to be the greatest birthday I've ever experienced!" Grizelda smiled at her friends before turning back to the surrounding crowd.
Zee nodded, "And our friends really hit the nail on the head, it's got everything we all enjoy." Like all of their usual thank yous, the citizens responded with applause and cheerful whistles.
"Now, let's dig in to the amazing treats Grizelda prepared!" True gestured to the princess, who immediately began to talk all about her intricate baking processes. Despite The King's insistence that she deserved to have someone else do it for her, Grizelda was dead set on baking as many goods as possible for her big day.
