Floating. Endless space, but in that endless space is a ship...an Autobot prison ship. An abandoned one holding a single prisoner. Inside its desolate halls is a s single stasis pod. The ship has been floating around for a very, very long time. And now it's ended up near Earth. Eventually pulled in by the gravity the ship starts falling to the planet, burning up, and crashing into an empty valley. Rocks and dust kicked up from the impact. It landed in a valley mountain, leaving a massive crater. Inside the ship, the stasis pod is damaged. A blast violently rips off the pod door a hand grabs the side of the pod, glowing eyes seen from the smoke from the pod. My eyes. My hand. I step out of the pod and look around the ship. Well, what remains of it. Sparks and twisted wires. Broken and burnt metal. I begin walking through the desolate and destroyed halls. My steps weary. Weary from the constant marching and hunting. This war...this Primus forsaken war...lives lost. And for what? I don't even know at this point.
Me: I'm so tired...
I walk until I see light seeping through a hole in the ship's hull. I raise my cannons at the hole and fire. Kicking up more dust. I step out, almost immediately having to shield my optics from this planet's sun. After a few moments, my optics adjust to the light and I look at my surroundings. Endless valley.
Me: Maybe...Maybe this is a new opportunity for me to leave the war behind...
I look at myself at a piece of reflective shrapnel. My gaze lands on the insignia I bear. I narrow my eyes. I grab a smaller piece of shrapnel and slash the insignia. I cringe at the stinging pain. I look back at the metal buried in the ground. The insignia slashed out. My gaze falls upon the mask I wear. I slightly raise my hand and lightly touch the mask. I then clench my fist.
Me: I will keep it...as a reminder of what I was...and what I never will return to.
I start walking away from the wreckage. Hope...something that was lost during the war. A feeling lost to me now returning like a flood.
Me: Hope...Maybe. This won't be as bad as it seems...
I continue walking through the valley. I come upon a cave of sorts. I decide to walk in. Walking around until I see a slight glow from one of the walls. I pull out a sword that I took from a traitor Megatron sent me to hunt down. Bludgeon I believe...I don't know. It's been so long. I use the sword to stab into the wall. The wall cracked and I take the sword out and put it on the hilt on my back. I pry apart the wall as it crumbles down. A light blue glow comes from what is behind the wall. My eyes slightly widen from a surprise, but a welcome one. Energon.
Me: A new hope...and perhaps...a new beginning for me...
I reach out grab a decently-sized crystal and look at it. I look back at the way I came from.
Me: Wonder what I can salvage from the ship...
I set the crystal down and walk back. Maybe things will turn out just fine for me on this planet...Maybe.
A/N: I decided to take a whole different approach to this goofy story that you all seemed to enjoy a lot more than I ever thought, but hey, hopefully,
you'll enjoy my new approach to this idea I had.
