I am the author and I want to stress that we're gonna have to play pretend a little bit in this book, like for the fact that the modeling industry is not that big in Washington DC but like I said we're gonna pretend because I wasn't gonna sit and make the BAU based in New York or Los Angeles because that is just unrealistic. We're also gonna have to play pretend for the fact that things that happen in this book do not line up with when Luke joined the BAU, like I know Derek and Luke weren't in the BAU at the same time, but I love him and I wanted him in the book so yeah!!
