We walked the grounds for the next hour enjoying the flowers and trees. At one point we stopped at a peach tree and I picked peaches for us and I got a little bit of juice on my face and I went to wipe it off when she beat me to it.
“You're so freaking cute.” she said I blushed.
We sat there talking till we had to go to the dreaded party.
When we got there Jayde started to act differently from when we had been alone.
I decided to confront her about it.“Hey Jayde, are you okay?”
“Yeah I'm fine, why?”she was looking really pale
“Because you're really pale.”
“Oh I just need to get away from all these people and go get a drink.”
“Do you want me to come with you?”
“Yes please!”
Jayde and I went to get a drink and she just randomly stopped on the way and I asked her what was wrong. She said “I haven’t really told anyone that I’m lesbian.”
“Oh”
“Oh that's it? That's all you're going to say?”
“Well yeah”
“Why?”
“Because I’ll wait for you to tell people when you are ready!”
“Wait, what do you mean ‘you will wait for me’?”
“I like you and I want you to be my girlfriend!”
“Well the tides have changed immensely.”
“What do you mean?”
“I was the one all confidante and you were all shy, now the roles are reversed. I'm the one all shy and you just professed your undying love to me.”
“I….I…I didn't profess my undying love to you. I asked you to be my girlfriend.”
“Oh shut up and kiss me already!”
And with that I kissed Jayde Ann Smith, my heart was racing so fast at this point.--------
Hey,
