Wrong Decision (tk)

Chapter-3

Jungkook hasn't had dinner because he usually has dinner with Sunjae. But now it's past 11 pm. Sunjae hasn't come home yet, his phone is switched off, Jungkook has forgotten that Sunjae didn't take him on the date, his anger towards Sunjae is gone and now he has a grievance. Now Jungkook's only prayer is that Sunjae should reach home safely. 

Sunjae entered the room. Jungkook's attention turned to him. His hair was messy and his eyes were red and every step he take was out of rhythm. It didn't take long for Jungkook to realize that Sunjae was drunk.

"Why are you so late, Sunjae?" Jungkook asked, his dull eyes looking at Sunjae questioningly.

"Leena agreed to collaborate with our company and there was a party in the company that's why I was late" Sunjae unbuttoned his shirt, took it off, took a towel and went to the bathroom, ignoring Jungkook's other questions. 

Jungkook cannot forget the name 'Leena'. Leena and Sunjae's wedding date is fixed, and that's when Jungkook comes in as Sunjae's wife and becomes the main enemy of Sunjae's family.

A bunch of negative thoughts started coming to him along with pain. But he thought of his and sunjae's precious moments in his college and tried to overcome that thought's. He already has so many reasons to cry that he can't bear it. He laid on the bed and closed his eyes and tried to sleep. Being awake has no benefit to his body and mind, instead there is harm.

Jungkook was the first to wake up and Sunjae was lying next to him. He looked at the clock and saw that it was 9 o'clock. He lay down facing Sunjae and Jungkook was happy that today is Sunday and Sunjae will be with him all day.

Jungkook was laying his head on Sunjae's clothed chest and looking at him. Sunjae stirred from his sleep

"Good morning sunjae" Sunjae also felt happy when he saw Jungkook very active.

"Good morning kook"

Just as Kook was about to kiss Sunjae on the cheek, he heard someone knocking on his door. " Sunjae.. "

That sweet voice put a smile on Sunjae's face and a fire inside Jungkook. The sleepiness on Sunjae's face was gone. He quickly opened the door. Leena came in

"lazy boy, are you waking up now" she said ruffling Sunjae's hair.

"Sunday is the only day I can sleep for so long. Why waste it?"

"Hi Jungkook" Leena greeted Jungkook with a small smile. Jungkook smiled back even though he didn't like her much but it's not his nature to be rude to anyone. 

"As you said I will stay with you in this house all day, get ready and come to the living room" Leena returned from their room.

"You two seem close" Jungkook said mor like asked.

"It will be like this until this collaboration ends" Jungkook said as Sunjae started to go to the bathroom

"Sunjae you must not forget that I am your life partner during this collaboration."

" what the heck are you saying " Sunjae went into the bathroom.

Jungkook sat on the bed with a blank face. If he had a little self-respect, he would have left this relationship, but that is where love comes before his self-respect. Jungkook is never an insecure person but these situations make him insecure.

If someone asked how much sunjae loves Jungkook, Jungkook could talk about it all day long. But now he questions Sunjae's love itself. Jungkook decided to marry sunjae thinking that he will be happy forever.  But now he realizes that it was a wrong decision to take under the influence of temporary happiness.

"Jungkook, I'm going to the living room. You can come there if you want, but you shouldn't cry because my family insulted you."  The last lines were said in a mocking manner by Sunjae. Jungkook thought maybe Sunjae didn't see anything wrong with what they were doing.

Jungkook can't sit here peacefully when Leena is in the living room, he decided to go to the living room. He went to the bathroom to freshen up.

When he came down fresh, the sight made his heart tighten as Sunjae and his family treat Leena like a queen. He ignored it and sat next to Sunjae on the sofa. Everyone in that living room saw Jungkook but didn't mind his presence, including Sunjae. Jungkook watched the princess treatment Sunjae's family gave Leena with a burning heart.

Jungkook doesn't move away from Sunjae like iron stuck to a magnet. Now everyone is sitting in the dining room to have breakfast. Jungkook hasn't sat down to eat with Sunjae's family yet, so Jungkook probably feels like they are staring at him. Leena looked at them and said, "The dining chairs are all full, so I will eat later."

"You sit and eat with us. Jungkook will eat later"

Jungkook's eyes filled with tears. Whoever said these words would not have affected Jungkook so much, but it was none other than Sunjae who said this. 

Jungkook felt humiliated and tears began to flow unbidden from his eyes. He looked at Sunjae and Sunjae stared at him blankly and Jungkook understood the meaning of that stare. His heart sank when he heard the mocking laughter of his mother-in-law and sister-in-law. He was humiliated today by Sunjae, who had been a bit of a comforter in this house until now.

Jungkook put the chopsticks on the table and got up from his chair and bowed his head, biting his lip to keep from bursting, he quickly walked out of there and into the room.

Jungkook reached the room and locked the door.  He burst into tears but his sobs subsided slightly when he caught sight of the object.  He walked towards it and took it in his hand and smiled slightly.  It was a knife. He looked at his wrist and the knife. He closed his eyes tightly and held the knife to his wrist.

Taehyung was working in the office when he got a call and he answered it was the receptionist. He paused what he was doing and went to the reception.

"Hello, I'm Jina, aren't you Kim Taehyung. Your parents and mine have arranged a date for us today."
