Y/n lazly cuts up a few carrots and tosses them into a pot of boiling water.

Y/n (Thoughts): female's are deemed
by society as the inferior gender meant to be protected by male's. While the females are required to take up household chores such as cooking cleaning and other menial tasks.

Ashley: Pick up the pace my stomach is eating itself alive over here!

Y/n (Thoughts): and then there's Ashley she's the complete opposite of what a woman is supposed to be.

Y/n: you know if you're so impatient you could pick up the cooking yourself

Her response was throwing a can of ravioli at the back of his head.

Y/n: Ow.

Ashley: There's plenty more where that came from!

Y/n: alright you win.

Andrea: Come on Ashley leave him alone and stop trying to get on his nerves.

Ashley: don't tell me you're afraid of this guy look at him he's so skinny and frail he couldn't hurt a fly if he wanted to.

Y/n (Thoughts): Ouch.

Ashley: the guy's basically harmless.

Y/n (Thought's): me harmless I never thought I'd see the day when someone actually thinks I'm harmless.

Y/n served both girls a bowl of soup Ashley stared at the soup as if analyzing it.

Ashley: Wow it actually looks edible.

Y/n: I followed the recipe from a cook book I read back in my room.

The sister's dig in and started eating like there was no tomorrow. He waited until they were both finished to see the look on Ashley's face.

Y/n: well?

Ashley: it was mediocre.

Y/n (Thought's): why am I not surprised?

Andrea: I thought it was pretty good. best thing I've ever tasted

Y/n: thank you Andrea.

Ashley: Alright andrea quit sucking him off it's just some soup.

Andrea: I am not sucking- you know what I'm going to bed.

Andrea got up and left the table.

Y/n: don't you think you should go I don't know apologize or something?

Ashley: Oh don't worry about her she always does that when she's embarrassed.

Y/n: Oh, ok

Ashley: so how did you end up here?

Y/n: I was tested positive for the virus and my parents willingly gave me up.

Y/n (Thought's): that's a lie I killed my parents but she doesn't have to know that.

Ashley: That's pretty sad.

Y/n: It's not that bad I like being alone.

Ashley: Of course you would you probably spend all day in your room jacking yourself off.

Y/n: No not at all.

Ashley: liar but I didn't expect you to tell me the truth anyway.

Y/n: Ashley do you want to leave this place?

Ashley: Of course I do the warden watches everyone like a hawk.

Y/n: What if I told you I could get you guys out of here.

There was a sudden knock at the door causing Ashley to jump a bit.

Y/n: you expecting company?

Ashley: No

Y/n: Answer the door and act natural.

Ashley opens the door and two detectives walk in.

Carter: good afternoon I'm detective Carter and this is my partner detective blake.

Blake: How do you do?

Carter: May i ask your name?

Ashley: I'm Ashley graves

Carter: Do you live here alone?

Ashley: No I live here with my sister.

Carter glanced over at Y/n who just sat there staring at her.

Carter: And him?

Ashley: He's-

Y/n: I'm her boyfriend.

Detective blake writes down something on his note pad. While detective Carter kept eyeing Y/n.

Carter: have you seen anything strange around here lately?

Ashley: strange?

Blake: Any weird noises any screams?

Ashley: No what's going on?

Carter: We're conducting a murderer investigation.

Ashley: Murder investigation?

Blake: Yes a dismembered body was found at the back of this apartment complex and we have a feeling that the murderer is still inside the building.

Y/n: I'm sorry detective but we haven't seen or heard anything.

Detective Carter hands ashley a card which had her phone number.

Carter: Don't leave your apartment for any reason, do not open the door for anyone and if you see or hear anything strange anything at all give me a call.

She glanced over at Y/n one last time before taking her leave. Ashley closed the door and looks back at Y/n who had a straight face.

Ashley: A murderer here?

Y/n: that's unlikely.

Ashley: Maybe it's the cultist guy next door.

Y/n: Well you can't throw around accusations unless you have the proof to back it up.

Y/n simply got up from his seat and heads for the door.

Y/n: well I think I've overstayed my welcome. See you tomorrow oh and thanks for having me over.

Y/n (Thoughts): and giving me my next target.

Ashley: Wait-

Before she could finish he was already out the door.

Ashley: He forgot to tell me what his plan was.
