'knock knock'

"yea?!" She replied, looking up from her book.

"Heyy! Wassup?!" Vernon chirped, peeking his head through the door.

"Oh Nonie come come!" She excitedly exclaimed, sitting up on her bed.

"What are you doing?" He asked, coming inside.

"Nothing just reading something" she said showing the novel then she marked till where she read and kept it on her nightstand table.

"ohh you said you wanted to tell me something?!" She added. As she remembered him telling her over tex that he wanted to tell her something.

"Ah yea but you probably know it before me" he said, propping down on her bed.

"about what?!" She asked, with a frown.

"Mingyu's comeback" he said gauging her reaction.

"ah yeah also he is downstairs btw!" At that sentence her eyes lit up. "really?!" She couldn't control her excitement as she was going to meet him after some days which felt so long for her.

"Btw I have been noticing this. Can I ask?" Vernon asked her. Being confused she said "yea go ahead" "Do you perhaps like mingyu hyung ?" She let out a nervous laugh, her brain stopped working and she froze
"h-huh, w-what are y-you talking about ?" She stuttered, shrugging nervously avoiding his gaze.

"My senses can't be wrong! Just shoot the truth!" She avoided eye contact, as usually Vernon catches on everything really well and silently.

"Akiya you have been always talking about him, also when he is being mentioned in conversation your eyes always sparkles so just shoot!" Vernon really caught her in her lie.

"Fine, I'll tell you everything but no-one should know about this only sera yoona and Aein knows about this" she sighed, having no other option she warned him.

"Fine but I want details man!" He exclaimed excitedly.

"Yea actually I do like him not as a fan but more than that." She said with a small smile.

"Since when?!" He asked excitedly.

"Why are you so excited?" She gave him a side eye.

"Nothing, it's just interesting! So when did you start liking him?" He said casually shrugging.

"Since his trainee days, as wonu oppa and I used to talk on video calls so at that time he was most of the time there, also wonu oppa used to talk about him a lot I mean he used to talk about everyone as well." She explained.

"Ohh so you like him since we were nineteen?" I just hummed and nodded. "Woah you have been liking him for four years now?!" He stated surprisingly.

"You could have-"

"ik ik but I'm scared,what if-" she started saying cutting off his sentence knowing what he wants to say.

"Little bean, bonon-ah come down to eat" her sentence was cut off by Wonwoo calling them downstairs to eat.

"Don't you dare to say this to anyone or else I'll really kill you" she warned him.
