This is a Loki fanfic mostly based off Disney's Marvel universe version of the characters (although with some creative freedom off some resources of the true Norse gods and the Marvel comics themselves).
It roughly takes place in the 1980s, long before our movies of the 2000s but the era isn't super important. I just want you to know this all takes place well before Loki's prominence in the movies. Like a backstory, of sorts.
