Y/N and Renee haven't been on great terms since Renee's Snow Hard Feelings tour has started. She's never home for longer than two hours, and even when she is home she's just packing for her next destination.

After they had a fight, Y/N decided to go to the show in their hometown, just to get the experience.

"Y/N! We're about to be late!" Nova, my best friend, shouts for me. "She goes on stage in fifteen minutes! Get your ass downstairs!"

"I'm coming! Jesus Christ!" I shout back as I run down the staircase.

Im wearing the Snow Angel hoodie that Reneè gave me when we first started dating about a year ago, and a pair of regular shorts. Nova is going all out. She's wearing a bedazzled bikini top with an open white button up and bedazzled jean shorts to match her top. She's always been more extroverted than me, it suits her personality.

"Finally! Let's go!" Nova says as she drags you out of the house. The venue is only a five minute walk from my house, I don't know why she's in a huge rush. "Does she know you're coming?"

I shake my head, "No.. I thought I could surprise her, yknow?" I shrug.

"Y/N..."

"Shut up."

An hour and a half later, Reneè has just finished singing her last song of the night which is Snow Angel. Her voice was incredible, I don't know why I haven't come to a show yet.

She hasn't noticed me all night... well, until right now.

My Y/E/C eyes match with Renee's green ones from across the venue. The lights dim. It feels like we are the only ones here. God she's so beautiful.

Looking into my girlfriend's eyes takes me back to the beginning. Back to where it all started.

I've been dating this girl for just two months now yet I feel like I have known her all my life. We are driving at midnight to go get coffee like idiots because we can't spare a single moment without each other, even if we're asleep.

She's wearing my coat, one of the buttons is missing but she says she loves it just the way it is. It fits her well, I told her last week that she could keep it and she did. Now she wears it everywhere. "It reminds me of you, it has your smell." Reneè says with a grin as I continue sipping on the hot coffee. Its warmth keeps me from getting cold.

"Oh shut up." I giggle as she parks the car. We get out and begin walking towards the beach, our hands graze every now and then but neither of us are bold enough to make the move to hold hands.

I lay out a blanket in the sand and we sit down, it's dark and there's nobody around, just us. It's peaceful being alone with her.

The moon shines in the darkness, reflecting off of my necklace and the ocean. "Look up, it's a full moon." Reneè says softly as she points up at the sky, the movement making our shoulders brush together.

The simple touch sends chills down my spine. I look up at the sky for a moment before looking over at Reneè, my beautiful girl. I still can't believe she's mine. "Come back to my place tonight." She whispers, almost hesitant as if I'd say no.

"Okay." I answer rather quickly, which causes her to look over at me.

It has been two months since we made us official, we have obviously kissed before... but right now feels different. It feels special.

I smile softly and gently brush a hand over her jawline, Reneè shares my same smile and leans in to kiss me gently. A second later she pulls away and just gazes into my Y/C/E eyes. "You're so beautiful." She mumbles and leans in for another kiss.

About an hour later, we get to her house. It's close to two in the morning now but the coffee from earlier keeps us awake. "Y/N!" Reneè calls from her walk in closet.

I walk over to her and lean against the doorframe. "Yeah?"

Renee grins and tosses me a shirt and a pair of shorts. "Here, you can sleep in this tonight."

"Thanks baby." I smile and slip into her clothing, she also gets changed.

A little while later, I'm laying in Renee's bed just admiring her features as she sleeps beside me. She looks so peaceful like this. When I brush my knuckles across her cheek, she wakes up slightly.

"You aren't asleep yet..?" She says in a tired, groggy tone. I shake my head. "Why not?"

"Not tired." I shrug and open my arms for her, she immediately nuzzles in closer.

"Hey Y/N..." Reneè yawns and closes her eyes again. "You're my best friend."

I smile softly and kiss the top of her head, thinking to myself "I love you too" since I'm not able to say it aloud yet, even though that's what she meant.

Sunday morning comes rather quickly, I wake up to the smell of burning toast. I grin and stretch my arms above my head before heading downstairs to greet my girlfriend. "Good morning!" I smile and wrap my arms around her waist.

"Good morning, I tried making breakfast but... it didn't work out very well." She giggles as she shows me the burnt toast. I huff in content, letting go of everything just for a moment, just focusing on her.

She smiles up at me, "What are you thinking?" She tilts her head a bit to the side, questioning me.

I hesitate for a moment before I release a heavy sigh. "I love you."

Renee pauses for a moment, her smile dropping. "You.. love me?" Her cheeks turn red and her smile comes back. "Y/N.. I love you too, baby. So much."

I blink and Renee is off of the stage. The images of us on the past disappear. "Y/N, you okay?" Nova nudges me.

"Yeah, I'm going backstage." I clear my throat and push through the crowd of Renee's screaming and crying fans to reach the door to her dressing room.

"Reneè." I knock on her door. "It's me, baby.."

The door opens and I'm immediately pulled into her embrace. "I'm so sorry..." Reneè sniffles. "I didn't mean to become so distant.. I don't wanna lose you."

"Oh, my love.." I wrap my arms around her waist and use my foot to shut her door behind me. "You have a job to do, I understand why you're so busy. Please don't say sorry, you won't lose me."

She sniffles as I lift her into my arms. I sit down on the couch and kiss her forehead. "I love you." She says quietly.

"I love you too, baby. So much." I answer with a reassuring smile. "Wanna get out of here? We can go to the beach just like old times."

Renee nods with a giggle. "You can come back to my place after."

"Okay." I answer quickly, just like how I used to. "Hey Neé, guess what." I nuzzle my nose against yours.

"Hm?" She hums and kisses the bridge of my nose.

"You're my best friend." I say with a grin.

"I love you too." Reneè answers before kissing me deeply.
