Trigger Warnings

Readers discretion is advised concerning the following content, which contain:

- Child Abuse

- Discussion of Genocide

- Fantasy Racism

- Graphic Child Death

- Graphic Description of Corpses

- Graphic Depictions of Violence

- Major Character Death

- Slavery

- Strong Grief/Mourning Themes

Your mental health matter. While I do my utmost to treat those subjects with the respect they deserve and balance out the bad with the good, it may be too much for some readers. Please take care of yourself.

With that said, I would like to clarify that some highly triggering content will not be depicted in this story. Those are: anything relating to rape, spousal abuse, sexual coersion of human or animals alike, dead or alive. There might be some romance themes involving a conscious walking corpse, but they are perfectly conscious and half-alive so I don't consider it necrophilia.

Misoginy will be lightly spoken about: it is very minor in this world.

It is not outlined yet, but I can't promise there will not be any cannibalism.

About the Queer Themes

While there are queer characters, in this world queerness is not out of the ordinary—and it will be treated as such.

The main character is homosexual, agender and uses he/him pronouns. He will likely not be stated as such because he doesn't really care for how the world sees him, and it is not particularly relevant to the story.

His love interest is demiromantic, bisexual and genderfluid. They will be able to shapeshift at some point. They mainly use they/them pronouns but might also like to be referred to with feminine pronouns sometimes. They are currently presenting masculine, but could very well present feminine later on during the story: I do not plan this since it is irrelevant to the plot, I am myself nonbinary and let the moods of the character and how I feel about them guide me into how they present.

A supporting side-character is an aromantic and asexual transgender man.

PSA : the cover will change as soon as the colours finally stop fighting me. Rendering is a pain...
