Taehyung spent a night in the hospital because of the trauma. He couldn't stop shaking and Jungkook had to hold him tight the whole night. Jimin and his parents had also visited for a few hours having been informed of the ordeal by Jungkook.
Taehyung tried to speak a little Korean claiming that he had been taking lessons from Jungkook and Jimin
The following morning, the police visited Taehyung to get his statement as they had already gotten Jenna's.
"Tell us what happened from beginning to the end." The commander asked.
Taehyung first explained what had happened the previous night causing him to visit the couples room and Jungkook explained the morning ordeal leaving out that Taehyung had laid on top of Jungkook and that the other kissed his forehead in the morning.
Taehyung also explained how he had tried to make a conversation with Jenna and ask for forgiveness only for the woman to go nuts on him.
"Was there anybody else there?" The commander asked again.
Taehyung recalled seeing the maid in the house before the fight and police confirmed that she had opened the door for them.
Jungkook also gave them access to his house CCTV cameras in the living room, Hallways and staircase.
Taehyung was stuttering badly throughout the whole process.
Jungkook also shared that his wife had always been insecure showing them evidence of her stalking some years back. He told them that she was Soo much in her head that she was jealous of the air around him and even after months of stalking, she found nothing.
"Alright Mr Jeon and Mr Kim, we will conduct our investigation and in the meantime, your wife will be held in rumande.... have a nice recovery...." They bowed and walked out.
The maid was immediately summoned to give her statement where she surrendered the video footage. This was great evidence since it had actual voices unlike the CCTV.
"And why didn't you try to help Mr Kim or call the police?" The commander asked the now afraid maid.
"Mrs Jeon is dangerous, I was afraid that she would attack me too or worst, kill my family....she's heartless and a psychopath...." she revealed a big burn scar on her thighs and chest area.
"You see this? She burnt me with boiling water onetime saying that now I can't seduce her husband, me, I'm older than her but she thought Mr Jeon was cheating on her with me... She believes that everyone in Mr Jeon's life is out to get him and that's why she tried to kill that sweet young man today." The maid kept blubbering showing them all the scars caused by Mrs Jeon on her body.
"And do you think that mr Jeon would cheat on her?" He asked.
"Are you crazy? Mr Jeon is the most faithful man in the world. Even after Mrs Jeon failed to give him a child, he still comes home early in the evening and takes her to all his parties...he's definitely never cheated on her...." She was now talking like a gossip monger gossiping with the neighbor next door.
The commander was glaring at her.
"Hey, I'm sorry, I was only being honest and got carried away by the information." The commander chuckled at the crackhead maid finding her personality likable.
"Okay, thank you for the information, we will keep your phone as evidence until further notice and will call you over when necessary."
Meanwhile, Jenna was trying all means possible to pose for bail but Jungkook made sure that she couldn't be released.
She had now stayed in jail for ten days and her jailmates were showing her hell just because she was rich and they were poor.
In two days it would be court day and her lawyer had assured her that the possibility of her release was very minimal.
Jungkook came over to visit her holding some papers, when she saw him, she glared at him hard that if eyes had daggers, Jungkook would already be dead.
"How are you doing here dear wife?" He asked in disdain remembering that that woman almost murdered his angel.
"What do you want cheater? I don't have much time..." She said rudely.
"Well," he threw some papers on the table.
"I would like you to sign this divorce papers...."
Jenna laughed loudly
"And why would I do that? You think I'm crazy? So that you can marry your mistress?" She laughed again.
"I knew you would say that but I have a deal for you. If you sign this, I'll help you not to go to jail, you know that your chances are slim. But if you don't, I'll make sure you rot in there and when you do, you'll be forced to sign this papers....now, decide quickly...." He put the pen on the table as well.
Jenna looked at him as if she was plotting a murder and deciding where to hide some bodies before she took the pen and signed. Jungkook let out a victory smile.
"Time is up .." a female police took Jenna .
"You better keep your promise Jeon..." She screamed walking inside.
When Jungkook got home, a little fluffball jumped on him for a tight hug. Jungkook kissed Taehyung's whole face happily showing him the divorce papers which He'd already filed on his way home.
"Let's celebrate...." They did this by drinking some wine while watching movies.
During the ten days, Taehyung had been sleeping on Jenna and Jungkook's bed hugging the latter like his life depended on it.
Taehyung refused to enter his room saying that it reminded him of that day and he would occasionally have nightmares.
Let's see what will happen later.
