Ironwood

Chapter One

The Kingdom of Ironwood rejoiced that the queen has given birth to twins, one boy and one girl. King Michael and Queen Astra were so happy that both babies came out healthy. The little boy resembled King Michael himself. The little boy had deep brown hair that almost looked black, and the king was shocked to see the little boy with so much hair already. The Queen was holding the baby girl and when the little girl looked at her mother the Queen gasped.

"Michael come quick" the Queen ushered. King Micheal rushed to his wife while holding their son "what is it?" 

"Look at her eyes" the Queen said smiling.

The king leaned over the queen to be able to see and gasped. "They are almost white with flicks of gold" he said smiling at his wife. The Queen smiled back at him "I hope she get my ash blonde hair since right now it's just a light brown."

"So, what were you thinking about their names?" the king asked.

The queen thought about it for a moment "Tobias for our prince" the king nodded his head with a smile since Tobias was his recently deceased father's name. As he was wiping his tears "and our princess's name" the Queen thought about this one for longer. "Well, I think this name should also mean something to us and I believe that she will bring light to our darkest times so we shall call her Celeste." The king was proud of his wife's choices for both babies. "Tobias and Celeste, the new prince and princess of the Kingdom of Ironwood."

After Astra was able to walk the king and queen took the children to meet there Fenrir. The Fenrir were the kingdoms bonded creatures. Everyone had one in the kingdom. The Fenrir are creatures that look like wolves, just extremely bigger than the average wolf. They could summon their Fenrir anywhere all they had to do was call out their name and place their hand on the ground and they would appear. They both decided that their Fenrir would be the first to know the baby's name. As they got closer to the castle gate they called out to their Fenrir.

"Storm" Queen Astra called out as she put her hand on the ground. A large light blue wolf appeared out of the shadows, and she had the bluest eyes. It reminded you of a lovely day at the beach. The Queen walked up to her Fenrir and held the baby out to her so she could see so Stormed laid down since she was so big she put her snout right next to the baby girl and huffed in relief as the Queen was rubbing her snout. 

"Is this the thing from your stomach that would kick my snout?" Storm asked through the telepathy the Fenrir had with their summoners.

All the Queen could do was chuckle at her Fenrir.

"Titan" King Michael called out after Storm showed up. Titan was a deep red Fenrir. His fur looked like the color Maroon, and he had deep brown eyes. After Titan appeared, the King took Tobias over to him. Following Storms movement Titan laid down so he would be able to get a better look at the child. "We wanted you two to be the first ones no know the baby's names." The king said with a smile, and both looked at the King. The Queen spoke up "you both are our Fenrir, and we know that if it came to the day where we could not protect them you both would." The king nodded his head and went to stand next to his wife. 

"So, we would like you to meet Prince Tobias and Princess Celeste." Both wolves sat up and howled. The King and Queen just laughed at their Fenrir. They stayed there for a while so the wolves could get used to the children. Queen Astra was starting to feel the pain of pushing out both babies, so she looked at King Michael.

"Honey it is time to go."

King Michael understood and helped his wife up of the ground. After they were ready to go Queen Astra picked up baby Chloe. Soon Celeste was asleep in her mother's arms. 

"I was thinking tomorrow we announce the names to the Kingdom" King Michael suggested. The Queen nodded her head.

Soon they arrived back at the castle and headed up to their wing and fed the babies and went to bed. As they were all sleeping a giant boom woke everyone up and the babies started crying so the queen ran over to them to make sure they were all okay and nothing was wrong.
