Kerra's P.O.V.
Lunea walks back outside, hands me my credit card, and a small bag. I open it and pull out the small object inside. "A notepad?" Lunea nods her head, then pulls a separate one from out of the bag. It's identical to the one I have, and as soon as I hand her a pen she begins to write a list down it. "Yep. We're going to write things we want to do before we die, and then complete them over the next 3 weeks," she says enthusiastically.
"So a bucket list?"
"What's a bucket list?"
I sigh. "Nevermind." I write down some ideas, and I have to admit that making future plans about where I want to go is fun. After I complete my list, I peek over at Lunea's. I only catch a glimpse of "#2: Go to New Orleans" before she realizes that I'm looking at the list. She slams it down on the table and her cheeks turn beet red. "You good?" She shakes her head, then nods it quickly. I raise my eyebrow and stare at her for a second longer, then look back at my list.
1) Learn a new language
2) Meet future partner?
3) Come out to parents
4)Visit Abb
I feel really guilty about #4. I haven't visited my sister in at least 3 years, and that's because we had a huge argument when I was 17. We never made up, and I still feel really bad about not reaching out to her. But hey, maybe I can meet her while we're in New Orleans. After all, it seems like Lunea wants to go visit there too, although I can't imagine why. All I know about New Orleans is that it's where Princess and the Frog takes place.

"Are you done yet? Check in is at 3:30, and it's a 40 minute walk!" I check the time on my phone and freak out. It's 3 o'clock, which means me and Lunea are going to have to run. After a minute of silence I hear the toilet flush and Lunea comes out after another minute. "Sorry, sorry. There was a weird latch on the door," she mutters, and I just shake my head. "It's fine, but we have to go. Now." I take her hand and bolt down the street, turning left and right, jaywalking across a semi-busy street, and running more. I check my phone as we're taking a breather, and I'm proud to see that it's only 3:20; we still have time, and we're a 5 minute walk away. I turn towards Lunea and tell her the good news, and she smiles. "I guess we really put the walk in gay walk," I exclaim happily, then look at Lunea in shock. "Sorry, I didn't mean to assume. It's just that you-"
"I am."
"Cool," I say, still slightly shaken. Lunea notices, and she takes my hand. "You okay?" I nod my head and blink my eyes rapidly, trying to keep my tears at bay. "Yeah, sorry. It's just that I've never...well, you're the first...um..," I say stupidly. She just nods her head in understanding and points ahead. "Let's get walking. The hotel is only a few minutes away."
