"𝑑𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑦𝑠, 𝐶𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑥!" Aelora demanded the gray dragon. The girl being the heir to the iron throne, had shared her cradle with a dragon egg. Rhaenyra herself had named Aelora heir the moment she was born. She didn't wish to be put in the same situation as her mother. It didn't matter to Rhaenyra that her daughter was a bastard, all that matters to her is that she's hers.

She watches in awe along with Aegon and the dragon keepers as Calix shoots fire out of her mouth and onto a stack of wood. The dragon keepers then use their sticks and buckets of water to put the fire out. The fire shines so bright that Aelora has to put her hand out to block her eyes.

This wasn't the usual time that Aegon would train Sunfyre but what can he say; he wanted to see Aelora. And wherever she was, so was he. It was one of the fewest times he got to see the girl. She was either too busy at Dragonstone or attending to his mother.

Aelora lightly jumps up and down, clapping her hands in joy. Aegon comes up behind her and puts his hands on her shoulder, "She's getting better," he states.

"She is! Soon she will be better than Sunfyre!" The two watch the dragons do circles around each other. It almost seems as though the dragons are admiring each other, mimicking their riders.

Aegon starts out, ready to mock her, "No dragon will be—"

The prince gets cut short as one of Rhaenyra's head maids yells out, "Princess Aelora," she pauses and looks between Aegon and the girl, "Princess, you must come quick."

It was no secret that Rhaenyra was bound to have the babe soon. Aelora just didn't expect it to be this very day. Aegon looks to Aelora, "Go, I'll deal with Calix."

The princess looks to Aegon in appreciation before giving him a kiss on the cheek and running after her mother's maid. Nobody noticed the faint blush that was left on Aegon's cheeks.
