ONE SUMMER DAY in Hampton, New York, a woman in her late 20's pulled up into a gas station. As the attendant pumped gas, the woman who is known as Seraphina Senrei said.
"Sir, could you hurry it up a little, please? I am kind of in a hurry, I have to pick up my children. They just finished Art class in East Hampton."
"Yes, ma'am." The attendant replied.
A well dressed man with blonde hair and golden eyes walked over to Seraphina's car.
"Excuse me ma'am, my name is Ryota Kise." the man known as Ryota Kise said politely.
"Hello Mr. Kise, I'm Seraphina Senrei. What can I do for you?" Seraphina asked politely.
"I am in an urgent need of a ride to East Hampton, because the car that I had rented broke down. And I have an important photo shoot there, and I overheard you say that you are heading there so I came to ask for a ride. If it isn't too much of a bother to you." Ryota explained as he flashed Seraphina a charming smile.
"Sure thing Mr. Kise, I'd be happy to give you a ride." Seraphina replied smiling back, not noticing the hidden meaning behind smile.
"Thank you ma'am, may I put this in your car? I need to use the restroom for a moment." Ryota said holding up his black briefcase so that Seraphina could see it.
"Oh sure, just put it in the backseat." she said unlocking the back door.
Ryota placed his case in the backseat of the car then went to the restroom. Just as he entered, the attendant came to Seraphina.
"Your car's fuel tank is full now, ma'am." The attendant said.
"Thank you, how much is it?" Seraphina asked and the attendant answered the amount.
After paying the exact amount, she looked at her wristwatch to look at the time. Seraphina suddenly had a panicked look on her face.
"Oh shoot! They're almost done with their art class!" she said out loud and drove away from the gas station, forgetting the blonde man that was coming back to the car for a ride.
Seraphina thought nothing of him again, her thoughts are of her young children who were waiting for her to pick them up. When she got to the art institute, she saw her children Natsu and Severina sitting on the front stairs.
"Hey guys, how was art class?" Seraphina asked as Severina and Natsu climbed in the backseat not noticing the black case that was on the bottom.
"It was great mom, we had a great time today." The twins said with happy grins on their faces.
As they drove for home, Natsu and Severina began telling their mother all about their day in class. Seraphina felt like she was forgetting something but brushed it off and continued driving home. She pulled up on their driveway, and as they were getting off Severina noticed something black on the bottom of the backseat and she realized that it was a briefcase, what it was doing there she didn't know so she decided to ask.
"Hey mom, whose case is that?" Severina asked pointing at the case.
"Oh my gosh! That case belongs to a blonde haired man who asked me if he could catch a ride to East Hampton! I was in such a hurry to get to the both of you that I completely forgot about him! I knew that I forgot something." Seraphina panicked.
"It's not your fault mom, you were worried about us." Natsu said to calm his mother who raised and cared for them so much.
They went inside the house closing the door. Natsu and Severina went up to their respective rooms, while Seraphina sat in the living room and opened the case's lid to look for some form of identification or contact number so she could notify the blonde haired man that she has his belongings. What she found inside shocked her to the core. The things inside the case were nothing but a long knife and a roll of duct tape!
Seraphina's eye widened at the discovery, the man wasn't trying to get to an appointment. It was just an excuse to get a ride so he could kill her and her children!
"Thank God I had forgotten about him..." she whispered in relief.
If she hadn't forgotten and waited for him, they would have been his next victims. And for once in her life, Seraphina was very thankful that she had ditz out on him. But she had wondered, how many people had he killed?
=Meanwhile=
A blonde haired man was walking down the street wearing sunglasses hiding his narrowed golden eyes he was pissed that the lady he had targeted had escaped him, without her even knowing it. Oh well, there are other people that will not escape him next time. And who knows, he might meet her again. And if he does, he might or might not kill her.
He smirked.
She intrigued him, there was something about her that sparked an interest in him. He would never forget that beautiful face and stunning smile. Seraphina Senrei.
I made Kise the chosen character instead.
