Jinpei wanted to hear his voice again, see his face, hear his laugh, see his smile, listen to him talk, laugh with him, have fun with him, fix things with him, drink with him.

It was with a smile that Jinpei looked up at the top of the cabin he was in, as if he could see the sky. He waited, as he had already waited, even if from now on it would be over. He smiled like he had never smiled in recent years.

He hoped Kenji wasn't angry, but whatever. He would tell him. He would tell him himself, and him, he would defend himself by answering as he did

Then they would go drinking together, laughing like they never had before 

And they would never be separated again, in this other world.
