Ken Sato x Reader

2. Game Night

Tonight was the night of Ken's big game. You had exclusive front row seats close to the field. As the game began to start, the announcers started their introduction. "You can feel the electricity in the air. 42,000 fans here tonight a capacity crowd, waiting to get their first look at Ken Sato. Anxious to see what he can bring to the Giant's team." The huge screen showed crowds of people wearing Giant's jersey's and screaming Ken's name. The suddenly it landed on you. You began to grow nervous and frantic. You seen a man with a full black suit approach you with a microphone. "And looky here! Well if it isn't the wonderful lady who swept the one and only Ken Sato off his feet! Y/n, do you have anything to say about tonight's match?" The man in the suit handed you the mic for you to make your statement. "Well... I just wanna say that the Giants are gonna rock this game! And baby if you're watching this, show the world who's the boss at baseball!" The crowd, again, erupted into cheers. "Well there you have it! Mr. Sato if I were you, I wouldn't want to disappoint her!"

" I now announce... rightfielder Ken Sato!" Everyone screamed. Including you, you were his #2 fan! #1 rightfully belonged to his mom. "GO KEN!" You yelled. And your face once again was on the huge screen. You took that as a sign to sit.
It was now time for the ball to be pitched. "Strike one!" The umpire called. "Focus Ken." You muttered. Ken then missed the second pitch. "Strike two!" You saw Ken start to bicker with a player on the other team. "Oh no..." it was unusual for him to miss. Let alone TWICE. "I told him not to play with that shoulder." You rubbed your temples. "Bottom of the first, two strikes on Sato and he doesn't look happy." He switched to the opposite side, batting right handed. "I've never seen this in the middle of an at-bat." Tensions rose, especially yours. And when the pitcher threw the ball everyone was anxious to see if Ken would hit it or not. "And it's a grand slam!" Said the announcer. "YES!" You cheered. He started running to all the bases and you rooted for him as he did. But suddenly, the ground shook. You looked up to see KDF drones crashing against the stadium glass. One caused a huge explosion and from within the fire a kaiju came out. The one and only. "Gigantron." You gasped. You saw Ken run towards the commotion. You on the other hand ran away, trying to get home.
Once you made it outside, the streets were full of frantic citizens. Your watch started ringing and you answered without looking down at it. "Y/n! Are you ok?!"

"Yeah! I'm fine."

"I'm sending my motorcycle to you. I'm getting you out of there." He said.
"Be safe!" You told, you then hung up.  Not long after, the bike came. You got on top of it but you didn't know how to work it. "How do I drive this thing?!"

"Worry not. Autopilot is activated."

"Mina?" You asked. "How?"

"I can transfer my conscience to multiple devices at once. My instructions are to get you home, but please, put on your helmet." You reached for the helmet and secured it on your head. "Mina get me out of here please!" The bike instantly started speeding, making you instantly grip the handles. It's nothing new to ride a motorcycle. You're just used to riding with Ken. Maybe that's why this time is chaos.

Later on

Mina came into the bedroom, letting you know the Ken had just arrived back. You headed to the elevator and went down to the last floor. You saw him in is Ultraman form. With his back facing towards you. "Ken! Are you ok? How was the fight with Gigantron?" You frantically asked. Trying to walk in front of him to face him. But oddly he kept his back turned. "Ken..." No answer. "He is alright, I ran an emergency scan and everything came back completely usual." You nodded your head. You were still concerned nonetheless.
"Y/n,"

"Yes?" You answered. "I- I tried to save Gigantron. I really did! But the KDF kept interfering a-and the egg!-"

"Egg?" You repeated. Ken sighed. "I guess it's better if I show you..." He said. He then began to turn around. He had something close to his chest. And when he revealed it, you couldn't help but gasp. It was a baby kaiju. A cute, pink, baby kaiju. "From what I've gathered she is quite healthy." Mina said. The huge kaiju baby seemed happy from what you could tell. She kept smiling and laughing every chance she got. Ken's suit started to blink, signaling that he was going to turn back. "What on Earth are we going to do with a baby kaiju?!"

"You tell me Ken, YOU brought her here!" You said. Ken turned back human. Falling in the air then landing on the solid ground. You ran towards him, helping him up. And there you two were. Face to face with a kaiju baby. "Uh, hi?" Ken spoke. A loud shriek made the ground shake and caused a collection of cars to pile upon one another, causing damage. "What the heck was that?!" He yelled. You both began running. "She's scared of you."

"Scared of us? She's 20 feet tall!"

"She doesn't know you, nor Y/n, she only knows Ultraman."

"Mina, Containment unit!" You commanded. "Which one?" She asked. "The biggest one!" Ken snarked. Mina did as told and placed the baby in containment.
