Misha woke up, her head dizzy and her cold worsened. She found herself still in Arvish's arms, held gently as he talked to Samarth. Her eyes drifted to Jack, who was watching her with concern but quickly looked away when their eyes met. Vivan appeared seemingly out of nowhere and checked Misha's temperature.
"Your fever is still high," Vivan said in a concerned tone.
Arvish looked at Misha and asked, "Are you awake? How are you feeling? And if you weren't well, why did you come to college?"
Misha sat up and freed herself from Arvish's embrace. "I need to leave. I have a shift tonight at the mall."
Arvish pulled her back into his arms and said, "Look at this 6-foot cutie. You know he's your owner, right? Of course, you do! You're not feeling well, and he's handled your shift. Anaya has gone to cover it."
Vivan sat on the floor and added, "You don't need to worry. As your owner, I have other important commands for you to follow. Go home, take care of yourself, and don't push yourself too much."
Marg exclaimed, "Well, Anaya isn't free tonight, so who's going to take care of her?"
Misha said, "I can handle it on my own," as she stood up and started walking. Her head was dizzy, and just as she was about to fall, Jack caught her. The five seconds of eye contact between them was unexpected and intense.
Suddenly, Arvish scooped her up in his arms and said, "I'll take care of her. You guys carry on!" He carried her out of the hall, while Jack watched her go, feeling a pang of sadness.
Marg cleared his throat, "Uh, so, let's go for dinner?"
Samarth flinched, "I have some urgent work to finish!"
Marg sighed, "Fine, then we go."
Vivan exclaimed, "Actually, I also have some important work to attend to."
Marg and Jack gave them weird looks. Marg asked, "Did you guys...?"
Samarth quickly interjected, "Oh, what?"
Marg continued, "Join any other group?"
Before Samarth could respond, Jack grabbed Marg's collar and pulled him out of the hall, not giving him a chance to say anything else.
Arvish pulled the car in front of his mansion and carried Misha in his arms. As they entered, all the servants gathered in the hall. Arvish commanded, "Call the doctor and send dinner to my room."
