"hoy kayo cleaners ah!" their class president pointed to you and the dark green haired boy beside you

you smiled, knowing that you can get to spend more quality time with him. "Okay pres, ingat pauwi!"

closing the windows and sweeping the floor, you turned to face him—a blush forming on your face as you realized he was taking pictures of you.

"hey, stop that."

you chuckled softly, covering your face with your hands.

"don't cover your face." he approached you slowly, his cold hands held a firm yet gentle grip on your wrist.

"please?"

slowly you put down your hands, a smile forming on your face "what has gotten into you?"

he just ruffled your hair, then walking away as if nothing just happened.

"can we go home na? hayaan mo na yan, we have a janitor naman." you whined, sitting on one of the chairs in the empty classroom.

he shook his head "sige na nga."

you smiled, standing up as you grabbed your bag. "let's walk home together ulit."

he nodded his head, a soft hum left his lips.

"Hey, your ambag sa thesis na'tin." he flicked your forehead, making you whine and pout.

"oo na, i'm almost finished with it anyway." you reassured him as you rolled your eyes in a playful manner.

"you said that, dati.." he sighed heading out the classroom with you.

you groaned "it's almost tapos na for real!"

he took your hand, his pinky wrapped around yours making you gasp. he was so sweet today,  you wondered why.

you walked home together with your hand in his, enjoying the peaceful silence you both had. the sun was setting as the warm breeze brushed passed your skin.

"hey .. can you promise me something?"

you reluctantly spoke up, stopping in your tracks while you looked up at him.

he softly smiled at you "of course." he never smiled at anyone, you knew he loves you as much as you loved him.

"promise me that we'll still be together when we grow up?"

he hesitated a bit, smiling weakly as he planted a soft kiss on your forehead.

"i promise."

you giggled, pushing his face away as you were flustered "weh, 'di nga?"

"oo nga, you're so makulit." he scoffed, pinching your cheek.

"i promise we'll be together hanggang sa pag-tanda natin."

"i love you, xiao."
