ROLEPLAY GUIDELINES ! featuring esnya hood . these are rules for the roleplay aspect of the book !
ESNYA . welcome to evermore high ! as promised to headmistress grimm , i'll be telling you all the rules and regulations of our school ! here goes nothing !
i. always be patient and respectful to your peers ! please remember that everyone has their own life outside of the roleplay ! so if someone isn't able to get a reply in quickly , please don't blame them !
and remember , start as much drama as you'd like to between ocs — hell , even get into a fight or two ! but remember to hate the oc , not the admin . if anyone is bothering you please do tell me !
ii . reduce , reuse , recycle ! let's keep the campus clean ! when rping , we are using the third person pov ! and at least two sentences minimum for replies , let's give some material to work with !
good example — esnya laughed at the thought of bringing yvaine into her podcast . "come on now , she wouldn't even come close to joining it," the girl commented whilst her thumbs were busy on her phone. "besides , you never actually see her around."
bad example 1 — esnya laughed.
bad example 2 — i laughed at the though of bringing yvajne into my podcast.
bad example 3 — esnya : *laughs* dream guest on my podcast ? let's spice things up , one of my exes !
iii. appropriate behaviors and languages — to my dismay, are still affective around the classroom please don't swear or use triggering topics too much as it might flag the book down ! with that, no god moding or mary — sueing your ocs ! flawed ocs are all the more interesting ! but other than that , feel free to have your ocs do whatever !
iv. we are a diverse and inclusive school , let's let everyone feel welcomed ! please try to include everyone and don't let anyone feel left out ! connections chapter will be up the whole time so make some friends , enemies , and even pick a room mate !
your ocs definitely could date , romance is supes fun ! but remember don't let your ocs get into really weird age gaps ! if the grades don't touch then you don't touch !
don't control the actions of other people's ocs ! i've ran group rps where someone would try to control another person's oc and immediately kill them off which causes the admins to go like whaaaaaa ??? sooo , let's avoid that !
v. and finally , don't feel bad while having fun ! class schedules and dorming assignments will be sent out soon , see you this school year ! last but not least , feel free to chat in the admin chain or in the general chat on discord !
feel free to ask me any questions about anything , and suggest ideas for the next chapters of the roleplay to keep the story going !
there will be headcannon chains and extra content that you guys could contribute to , i wanna make this rp really fun and exciting to look forward to ! so i'll be making extra content like graphics for couples , ocs , friend groups , playlists , and even small things for everyone to enjoy !
separate chains may be added for private roleplays like one on one ocs and everything ! and here's the biggie for everyone —
there will be a discord server and a wattpad roleplay ! i didnt want anyone feeling left out by choosing one or the other , so i'll be managing both ! it's up to you if you'd like to join the discord or join the chapters here in wattpad — or maybe even both !
it was a big debate in my head , i don't want anyone feeling obligated to get discord just to join the roleplay (lets face it , it's so hard not to get fomo from an ever after high rp because WOAAAH) , however i know discord is also where some of you guys might be more active on ! so i'm giving everyone the option to join one or the other !
don't worry if it will seem like you'd get lost by only joining one of the two , as that's why esnya's crowns n' swords exists ! i'll be posting updates using the "podcast" to keep everyone in the loop ! that way you guys don't need to worry about what you might be missing , everything will be written down and talked about !
i'm 100% going to be on both wattpad AND discord , so either way i'm active on both accounts so no one gets left behind ! since its the summer (and my vacation is like four months long teehee) , i'll be roleplaying BOTH in wattpad and in discord , so one or the other doesn't feel too dull !
i want to make this rp manageable and enjoyable for everyone and i really hope this solves it ! so please please please don't worry about if you could only do discord or only do wattpad , theres a big group of one or the other to roleplay with !
at the end of the day , evermore high is to get a big community of fun and exciting roleplayers back at it again ! and i hope i'm doing the group rp community some justice with this !
