Rosa's pov:
''Diaz!'' I looked up from my computer when Jake called my name. ''What?'' I grumbled. Getting the opportunity, I rubbed my eyes to get the tiredness to go away, I didn't sleep well last night, the neighbors kept banging the wall, I spent 10 minutes hitting the wall with a hammer to get them to stop. I swear I almost grabbed my hunting knife and hunt them down.
''You're coming with me to do some rounds around the block, the captain wants us to since there's been some activities at night.'' ''Couldn't he send someone else for the job?'' I complained, I really wanted to sleep or just lay down in general. I've been here since 5 in the morning, Captain's orders.
''Nope, his panties are in a twist. He originally asked me it I talked him into taking you with me...you know, for the company?'' he shrugged his shoulders. ''I'm going to kill you Jake. I'm going to take your body and bury it somewhere no one will be able to find it once I'm done with you.'' I glared at the guy who's eyes widen in fear.
''I'll meet you at the car!'' he walked/ran away towards the elevator, leaving me to roll my eyes in annoyance. I stood up from my desk, grabbed my bag and put it over my shoulder. Seeing that I had everything, I head over to the elevator and pressed the button. Once it opened, I stepped in and pressed the button to go down.
Leaning against the wall of the elevator, I closed my eyes for a few seconds. It was going to be an interesting night, for some reason my stomach churned at the thought. Hearing the 'ping' indicating that I had arrived at the bottom. I stepped out once the doors opened and walked outside where Jake is waiting for me.
Seeing a police car at the front and Jake sitting at the driver's side, I walked over, opened the passages door and got in. ''There you are, you ready? we're just going to drive around until anything pops up.'' I swear that all I want to do and grab him by the neck and bang his head against the steering wheel. A smirk took over my lips at the thought.
''Whatever freaky thing is going through your head, it better stop, you're freaking me out.'' He gulped. ''Let's go Peralta, we don't have all night, I want to go home and sleep.'' I grumbled at the man size baby.
''Okay, okay.'' turning the engine on, we left the Precinct. The car ride is silent for a few minutes until Jake reached over to the radio and turning it on, music instantly playing through the speakers of the car. Peralta drove for a few minutes until we came along an elderly woman walking on the sidewalk. Next thing we know a man ran by the woman, bumping into her and grabbed something from her purse while doing so.
I flicked on the sirens and Jake drove after the guy. ''Woooohoo! THIS IS WHAT I"M TALKING ABOUT BABY!'' The stealer turns into an alley causing Jake to step on the brakes, we would have flew through the glass if it weren't for the seat-belts. Swiftly getting out of the car, I chased after him into the alley, not waiting for Jake to follow. It was dark and quite, I took my gun from my gun hollister and looked around slowly.
When I heard a can fall behind me, I quickly turned only to see a cat who stood staring at me. I suddenly heard footsteps coming from behind making me turn quickly just in time to block the punch coming my way. ''That was a mistake buddy.'' still holding on to his arm, I pulled him towards me and punched him in the face. knocking him out.
''I'm here!.'' Jake shouted from behind me. ''What happened grandma? broke a hip?'' I laughed at his sulking face. ''shut up, I wanted you to have that guy, he looked easy to take.'' He excused. ''Sure Jake.'' I turned the guy around and placed the handcuffs on his wrists after putting my gun back into the hollister. ''Since he looks easy enough to take down, it should be easy enough for you to take him to the Precinct with no problem.'' Walking over to the sidewalk, I looked over at Jake who struggled a bit with the body.
