Chapter 12 ~ I Promise

Third POV

Levi was sleeping in the nurses office as F/n left to finish her tests. A couple hours past by and Levi still slept.

F/n hit his head pretty hard so it was like a small concussion.

School had past and F/n was finishing working on the last of her tests. Petra was carefully watching her and walked to the nurses office, finding Levi asleep.

She smirked, she knew F/n would be done and be walking to the nurses office any minute.

I stood at the side of Levi's bed and placed her lips against his. Levi eyes shot opened and pinned Petra down so that he was on top of her.

"What the fuck were you doing" He demands.

"I like you Levi" Petra smiled.

"I don't, get it through your skull. I don't fucking like you" He said and leaned towards her, he was trying to intimidate her to tell her to back off but it gave a opposite effect.

Petra smiled as she saw the door open and F/n stood in the doorway. She quickly used this chance and kissed Levi.

"L-Levi?"

I turned around and saw F/n with tears running down her face. Her hand was clutching onto her chest as she watched me with heartbroken.

Levi's eyes widened.

"F/n, let me expl-"

His sentence was cut off by F/n slamming the door shut. Levi stood up but Petra grabbed his wrists.

"I told you, I don't fucking like you. I love F/n" he said, glaring at Petra.

"There's no point anymore of loving her. She thinks that you cheated on her and she won't be talking to you anytime soon" Petra scoffed.

"Then I'll keep chasing after her. I'll chase after her, I'll keep on saying 'I'm sorry' to her"

"I'll keep telling her that I love her" Levi said and Petra released his wrists and looked at him with disbelief.

"I won't give up on her" Levi said and ran out the door.

When he ran outside he couldn't find F/n any where.

"F/n!" He shouted and ran around the school. After his third time running around the school something caught his eye.

Something was shining in his eyes, Levi looked closer and saw that it was the necklace he gave to F/n. He grabbed it and looked around to see if she was around.

Guilt and worry knotted in his stomach. He couldn't find F/n any where, he just hoped she was back at home.

He quickly put the necklace around his neck and ran to the car. He past the speed limit and raced to his house.

"F/n?!" He shouted and ran in the house, he looked in every room but couldn't find her.

Levi placed both of his hands on his head in frustration.

He quickly dialed Hanji.

"Shorty?! This is new! you never call me" Hanji said through the phone.

"Tch, is F/n with you" He said quickly.

"N-No but Mike and Mr. L/n is with us. Why?! Is F/n in tr-"

Levi ended the called and punched his fist on the wall. He then looked at the necklace.

The necklace was a tracking device but also a camera. Levi took off the necklace and grabbed a laptop.

He transferred the data from the necklace to the laptop. He watched the video where F/n was walking back to the nurses office.

He paused the video when he saw himself on the screen where he pinned Petra and kissed.

It did look like he was cheating on F/n. Levi cursed under his breath and played the video again.

F/n had ran outside of the school building then tripped. As she got up, she ripped off the necklace off her neck.

"I hate you Levi!" F/n yelled and cried.

Levi but the inside if his cheek and mentally lectured himself. Soon the camera showed a black van on the video, two men came out and took F/n away.

"Shit" Levi muttered, he stood up and punched the wall so many times that his knuckles started to bleed.

~Ring~Ring~

Levi picked up the phone.

"Shorty! Come here now! We have to talk" Hanji's voice yelled out.

"Tch, why the hell do w-"

Hanji hanged up on him before Levi could finish his sentence. Levi grabbed his keys and got into his car, driving to Hanji's house.

Before Levi could knock on the door, the door swung open and Levi was pulled in.

"What the fuck Shitty glasses" Levi said and Hanji stared at him.

"Why didn't you tell me F/n was kidnapped?!" She yelled, Levi's eyes widened.

"How did you know that" Levi said.

Hanji shook her head sadly.

"You need to talk to her parents, they'll tell you" She said.

Levi jaw tightened. He was suppose to protect F/n but he just broke her heart and lost her to people that wanted to kill her.

He walked into the living room, finding Mrs. and Mr. L/n.

Mrs. L/n was crying on her husbands shoulder. In Mr. L/n's hands was a letter.

Levi walked into the living room and sat in front of them. Mrs. L/n looked up and slapped Levi a crossed the face.

"You said you'd protect her!" Mrs. L/n yelled.

Levi didn't reply but looked down.

"May I?" He asked, looking at the piece of paper Mr. L/n had.

Mr. L/n glared at Levi.

"Please" Levi said.

Mr. L/n sighed and gave Levi the piece of paper.

It read:

Bring ten-million cash at the abandon warehouse in two weeks on Tuesday at noon. If you bring any cops, we'll kill your daughter.

There was a taped picture of F/n tied up and a gag in her mouth. Her e/c eyes were puffy and tears were streamed down her cheeks. Her h/c hair were stuck up in all different places and stuck onto her cheeks.

"Mrs. L/n and Mr. L/n" Levi said softly and touched the picture of F/n.

"I promise to get her back no matter what" Levi said. "Please trust me" He said, his head hung low.

"You're the reason that our daughter is kidnapped!" Mr. L/n yelled.

"I know..." Levi said softly. "I know she deserves better. I know there tons of other men that'll treat her better than me but...."

"I love her and I'll do anything to get her back" Levi said and looked up at both of them.

"I promise that I'll get her back"
