They landed in Rajasthan and just now they arrived at Nitya's house but he was not at all in a mood to leave her . During the whole ride she was sitting on his lap while he buried his face in her neck and obviously a partition was separating them from the driver's view.

Before anyone could say anything Vikram's phone started ringing and he said that he had to leave but before going he kissed Nitya's forehead and left bidding bye leaving Nayanthara a chance to tease Nitya. And the large diamond on Nitya's finger didn't go unnoticed by anyone.
The whole day got passed by Nayanthara teasing Nitya and during their night call she even complained Vikram about her Anni while he chuckled listening to her cute complaints.
The next day at Selvaraj Nivas Nitya performed the ritual of Sumangali Prarthanai where she took the blessings of 5 married women and PallikaiThellichal was also performed where she filled 7 earthen pots adorned with sandalwood and filled with nine types of grains mixed with curd.
On the next day Vikram and his family arrived at Selvaraj Nivas because today was their Nichaytartham (engagement ceremony) and they would also be performing the ritual called Naandi Shrardham. The house was decorated with vibrant and fresh flowers. His eyes were searching for his precious but she was not present at the door. The remaining family members where standing at the gate in traditional tamil attires .
Vikram was welcomed warmly with a shower of rose water by Nandhini .She fed him sweets and they went inside where he saw 10 brahmins waiting for them. Soon Nayanthara bought his precious down and he couldn't take his eyes away from her. Shraddha and Kiara went and hugged her tightly while complementing her.
