"See, that wasn't so hard" I say over the banasier of a particularly yellow ship with a small smile.

"If you say another word I'm throwing you overboard and you're never making it to the island" the Captain huffed in that sarcastic barking tone.

"Oh you don't have to be so mean, I'll play nice I swear!" I said with my hands in the air. He opened one eye and cut me a look that immediately made me feel a certain way. He gets up from his spot and walks over to where I'm standing, so I face forward to the ocean sunscape. He stands behind me to the side, I could barely see him in my peripherals as he leaned over. In a tone I've never heard before he proved to be just as troublesome as Kid was, "If you play here like you did on his ship, you're going to have a rude awakening. I don't stand by and watch." Then turned to walk back to his spot leaving me flustered and confused.

"Ok, I've made my decision of what I'm going to do." I say assertively to the sweating man in front of me.

"And I will honor your decision completely as an apology, anything at all, Ill help." he assured quietly, not looking at me.

"Well, I'm not mad at you, but after last night then this morning, I've realized I need to feel strong enough to protect myself instead of getting off to someone strong and willing to protect me. As much as I enjoy it, in the long run I need to be my protector." I said very hesitantly. As much as last night left me with more questions like what if I didn't lock the door.. I shouldn't be entertaining that line of thought.

Kid Nodded and let out a deep sigh, "It seems we both agree that you need to go somewhere else for both of us to do our respective jobs." he sounded so defeated like he really didn't want that to be the truth, but we aren't meant to be this couple unit for the Kid Pirates. He and Killer are so close to their big break and they have so many goals, while my goals run the complete opposite direction.

"Now how do we deal with this," I say holding up the receipt, "because frankly I still don't understand what this means in the rest of the world."

"I talked to Killer about it, we're getting the funds together to pay the debt Croc left over my head, but since I'm listed as the primary owner- ugh that's so gross, but because of that if I agree that you can go of your freewill, then you are free. And I will agree to whatever conditions you want for yourself, and if you're ever in a bad situation, you can call for us since you're essentially married to the Captain." Gesturing to himself, that's not marriage but I appreciate the sentiment, he continues, "We are also looking at how to break the contract, and we think by paying crocodile the total that should allow us to fully get rid of it entirely, but feel free to call us if you ever need anything.." he trailed off at the end, he really is a good guy, just really rough around the edges.

I nod along listening intently, and everything seems in order. Now, for the second phase. "So how do we go about relocating me?" I truly know nothing of this world so I don't even know of a good place to start training. He thinks for a moment tapping his metal arm and twisting a bolt.

"A group called the revolutionary army always takes newbies to train, they would be your best bet for safety and training."

"How do I find them?"

"Oh I have no clue." he shrugged.

"Well thanks, do you know who might know how to find them?" I started to get frustrated so I took slow breaths to keep myself calm.

"I know there's an island that one of the generals ruled over that broke out of prison recently, and I think Law has been there before, but finding him is also near impossible. Plus I don't want to ask that asshole for a favor." He huffs looking away.
