SWEET VENGEANCE

Chap 5

It felt like as if everything started to spin and she felt dizzy. Tears started flowing down her pink cheeks. She felt extremely humiliated by the fact that her own biological father was saying it infront of her mother.
It wasn't the first time she heard such vindictive words from her father but it every single time felt like a new pang to her heart. She always got hurt as if for the first time.
Especially because she was innocent. She was a young, fragile and innocent girl who was never wrong but still tolerated alot. Her heart was like a huge treasure box filled with stones instead of gold.
She was innocent.
Mother:" She was framed  like this by your second daughter, my daughter is not like this!" She yelled, sobbing." How can you say such things about your daughter?"
Gripping on  her hair tightly, he said with pure HATRED "Liar! Stop blaming your daughter's dirty and shameless mistakes on others."
Vanessa's mother just kept crying and questioning her decision of marrying him, she loved the wrong person not knowing that he never did. He broke her slowly and gradually. She left everything for him but at the end, he was fooled by some mere poeple for the sake of little materialistic things. He tortured his own daughter and wife since years.
Father: "You have to go to the royal palace tomorrow, be ready for it." He said, gazing at Vanessa." There is only one thing that you are doing good and that is marrying the 2nd prince. I hope you will not mess it. He should not know about your dirty past."
Vanessa: " I DON'T HAVE ANY DIRTY PAST." She yelled.
Father:" Keep your voice down!" He roared. "I don't know how you seduced him but it's great that you are marrying him, now my position in the palace will rise even more."
"Hungry of power, hungry for money, manly only at bullying and destroying his own wife and daughter. What a father I have." She thought as she internally scoffed.
Her father wanted to kill her and her mother for giving birth to her, the day he was told that Vanessa had some affairs going on with his servant. But instead, he decided to torture them forever. The rumor didn't spread and nobody knew about it, so he was convinced that it wouldn't harm him. Vanessa was innocent, she knew that it was her step sister who frame her with great planning and made her father believe everything. During all the time, her mother was the only one who went through alot. She cried, cried and cried, she even tried to end her life but she always decided and convinced herself to live for her daughter. But still she was really sick now because of whatever that was happening.
It affected her badly.
Vanessa's father stormed out, slamming the door behind him. Vanessa rushed to her mother and hugged her mother,crying.
Vanessa:" I am sorry Mother, I wish I could do something for you." She said while sobbing." I really can't see you like this."
Her mother looked at her swallowing her emotions as she said," why are you crying?" She placed her hands on her cheek." Don't cry, you are going to become the princess consort and soon the crown princess  and  then the queen, you will surely rule, my child." Her face glowed.
Tears flowed down her cheeks.
Vanessa:" once I will  get married to the 2nd prince, I will tell him everything, then you live with us and we will will live happily. And the people who made us miserable....., Rage filled her eyes..I vow it Mother! I will not let them live in peace."
She wanted to create a peaceful and happy life for her mother and for herself also. Vanessa's mother wanted her to live a good life and that's why she was relieved that Vanessa was going to marry the 2nd prince.

Poeple were talking when Damon entered the royal palace with his guards, the crowd parted and hushed. As he passed by them, everyone started whispering to one another.
It was very rare of him to attend any event.
Was he really attending the banquet?
