"This is hopless!" Zara cried out, tired like the rest, "we've been fighting for days, we can't keep going on like this" her voice was quiet and she was exhausted. "There's got to be a way to drive em off, we did before we can do it again" Babs tried to fight against Zaras negativity, hopeful that they could win this battle. "While that is true, the monsters numbers are higher than ours... and they seem to have grown since last time" Anessas determination stayed strong, but she had to admit this fact. They looked at Serrah expectedly, but the green haired woman said nothing. "Ugh... what's the meaning of all this?" Malroth questioned, half to himself. Everyone was feeling uneasy with tension at this point. "Oh, how could this happen?" Lulu sighed loudly. Even Rosie looked unmotivated. Serrah is going to have to push her emotions to the side, strength is needed in a time like this. Finally she spoke, "Our effort may seem small right now, but we mustn't give up. Doing that would be weak of us, would it not? The children came back and they will loose like last time" The builders eyes glowed of fire. "she's right.." Malroth didn't want to agree with Serrah but he knew her words were true, "We have to put up a good fight, even if it kills us" he went on. "Those filthy beasts won't defeat us!" Though Lillian couldn't fight, she joined in anyway. They all continued for a bit, all fuelled with determination. Eventually the group broke up again, ready for when the Children decide to strike again. After a bit, Esther came to her with a request. "Serrah my lamb, Haydin still sick and he's gotten worse over the past few days... Could you please make somthing that would help?" She questioned, a hit of concern in her voice. "Yes, I'll get right at it" the green haired girl nodded, the slightest bit happy that somone has asked somthing of her. It gave her the mission she needed to feel atleast a little useful, like before. Serrah ran right over to Cerulean Steppes castle and start working on medicinal herbs. When she finished, she handed them over to Haydin, who weakly sat in bed coughing. "...thank you" he barely was able to speak, his voice is quite and scratchy. He wasn't doing too well. He is completely exhausted though he's done nothing and it's hard for him to breath. Serrahs efforts were proven no use, not even in the slightest. But she didn't give up, she tried giving him different recipes she made for healing and curing sickness. All of that had not worked either. "Haydin.. you should get some more rest, that might help a bit" Anessa recommend as she looked at him with worry. He nodded silently. "May Goddess be with you, my lamb" Esther smiled at him with caring eyes. Serrah struggled to think of anything else that may cure him. She failed. But that's okay, Haydin will pull through.... right...? "Come on Serrah, there's got to be somthing you can make" Zara said, looking confident in the builder, but Serrahs green eyes shined of hopelessness. "I'm sorry.. there's nothing I can do...." She sighed, feeling stabbed by her own words and growing aggravated at her failure. "Alright, Serrah.... he was getting so much better but I'm not sure why he's so bad off recently.. I hope he can survive this" Anessa seemed rather unhappy of how that went. Haydin may just be an annoying bard, but he's an annoying bard that is loved. "I really think that he will be perfectly fine after long enough, stop thinking of the worst, Anessa!" Zara exclaimed, not approving of Anessas last sentence. Everyone fell silent as they left, so that Haydin may have some peace. Serrah kept wondering what she's doing wrong, but Zara is probably right.
