Paring▹Sim Jaeyun (Jake) X Fem!reader

Jake swung through the city skyline, the evening sun casting long shadows across the buildings. His heart raced, not from the adrenaline of web-slinging, but from the anticipation of seeing you. Tonight was supposed to be special. Their first date in weeks was a quiet evening at their favourite café. He glanced at his watch – he was already late.

"Come on, just a little faster," he muttered to himself, shooting another web toward a distant building.

As he neared the café, a loud explosion ripped through the air. His heart sank as he saw the plume of smoke rising from where the café should have been. Without a second thought, he changed course, swinging directly into the chaos.

Green Goblin was there, laughing maniacally. People screamed and fled, but Jake's eyes scanned the crowd for one face. You weren't there. Relief and fear clashed within him as he confronted his foe.

"Spiderman! Here to save the day again?" Green Goblin sneered, launching another bomb.

Jake dodged, retaliating with webs and fists. The battle was intense, but his focus wavered as he thought of you. Were you safe? Did you know he was coming?

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he subdued Green Goblin, leaving him webbed up for the authorities. He stood amidst the disaster, panting, eyes darting around desperately.

"Jake!" (Name)'s voice broke through the noise, and he turned to see you running towards him. Dust and tears streaked your face, but you were unharmed.

"I'm so sorry," he whispered as you reached for him, pulling you into his arms. "I tried to make it, but..."

"I know," you said, voice trembling. "I know you did. You always do."

"Let's get out of here," he said, leading you to a nearby alleyway. They needed a moment away from the chaos.

In the quiet of the alley, Jake hung upside down from a web, his mask covering his face. You stepped closer, reaching up to pull the mask down just enough to expose his lips. He smiled at you, upside down but unmistakably happy.

You kissed him, a gentle, upside-down kiss that made the world disappear. When they finally pulled apart, you whispered, "I love you, Jake."

"I love you too," he replied softly.
