Viva! What an opening, i feel so Patriotic!. I joined thousands of Kenyans in a demonstration against the finance bill today, and I was wowed quite frankly by the turnout,damn! We gathered together, young and old, united in our voices against what we believe is unjust. It was a powerful sight to see so many people coming together for a common cause. This experience has cemented my patriotism, knowing that I am part of a nation where people are willing to stand up and fight for what they believe in.
Amidst the peaceful protests though, there were thugs who marred the demonstration by vandalizing people's property. This saddens me because our message was one of peace and unity, not destruction. These actions do not represent the spirit of our cause and only serve to distract from our peaceful protest.
As I reflect on today's events boozing,I hope that our president listens to our voices. Taxation is important, but we cannot tax our economy into prosperity. There must be balance and fairness in how policies are implemented, ensuring that they benefit all Kenyans, especially the most vulnerable.
I hold the belief today's demonstration will have a lasting impact on future generations. It has shown us the power of unity and peaceful protest. I hope that young Kenyans who witnessed today's events will be inspired to stand up against injustice and fight for what is right without compromise at no given time.Our actions today will shape the future of our country, ensuring that our voices are heard and our concerns addressed.
Parting shot, today was a day of mixed emotions,pride in our unity and disappointment in the actions of a few. Let us continue to advocate for a better Kenya, where every voice matters and where policies are just and equitable. Together, we can build a brighter future for our nation. Viva !!
