Harvey pov
I woke up at 8 as usual on a random Thursday, not knowing it was gonna change my life in ways I wouldn't have ever imagined. I put on my three piece suit, got in the car with Ray and entered the building where my firm, Specter litt, is located. I love my job, but what I really love about it are the people that do it with me. I have a whole family here that I would give my life for, and that I  get to see every day. There's Mike, the guy who started out as my associate and, by going through prison for me becouse I hired him knowing he did not go to law school, ended up being my best friend. There is Rachel, his fiance that I love dearly and most importantly respect a ton. Then we have Luis, the other named partner, who has been here since the biginning and is the guy I'm glad I learned how to love. There was Jessica, my mentor, but she in Chicago now. And then there is her:Donna. There are not many words a person could use to try and define Donna, but sure as hell awesome would be one of them. She is incredible at reading people, incredible at acting, incredibly empathetic, incredibly loyal and I think she is incredible overall. We have worked side by side for 13 years, she's been with me through thick and thin and I would not be me if it weren't for her. And, if I have a lucky day like today, she is the first person I have a conversation with when I get to work.
"Good morning Harvey" she said to me with a knee-bending smile on her face.
"Hey Donna, what do I have to deal with today?"
"Ok so, you have a meeting at 11 am with luis, the you have to depose a witness for the Gianopolis thing at 15 and then you have to choose between meeting with Pfizer or with mccarton motors"
"Perfect, postpone Pfizer and confirm with mccarton"
"I already did"
And then she vanishes, winking at me. That's why I love her, she gets me. Mccarton is not even nearly as big as Pfizer, but she knows damn well I prioritize loyalty and that is why she's perfect for me. At work, obviously.
So after all that, I say to my self I better get going for the day. And that I do, with Mike's help. The evening arrives and it was, strangely, a day without problems. So I sit in my office drinking
some scotch. Then, I feel heels coming in my direction and I smell Coco Mademoiselle.
"Hey Donna, is everything ok?" I say without even turning around to make sure. Shit I hope she doesn't notice I knew it was her just like that.
"Yeah Harvey, I just wanted to make sure you were okay, you had a busy schedule today"
She says sitting down on the couch, by my side.
"Yeah everything went great, thank you for asking."
"OK, good. Have a great night Harvey"
"Goodnight, Donna.".
Thank God she didn't notice.
"One last thing, how did you know it was me without even looking?"
Goddamn it. She's Donna, how could I expect her not to notice.
"Walk, scent." I say pointing first at her feet, and then at her neck.
She looked stunned. And also, she looked stunning. But I wasn't gonna say that.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I just didn't know you knew what parfume I used."
"Of course I do, Coco Mademoiselle. We've worked together for over a decade and you've never changed it, how could I not know?"
"Yeah, you have a point. Good night Harvey."
"I always do!" I say while she walks out of my office.
"Tom Ford, Oud Wood" It's the only response she gives, and it is the name of the cologne I've been using for the past 12 years.
I don't know why or how but this conversation triggered something in me. Suddenly I get I pit in my stomach and I kind of feel like a would have wanted her to stay, but I cannot bring myself to call her back in for some reason. What would I wanna do with her here anyway?
