"Dear Asahina..."

Chapter 2: Mom

  I get home from school, the house it's empty as ever, way too empty.
  "Mom?" I say, no one answer.
"Mom? Where are you?" I say again, no one answered, it was so quiet, i could hear my heart beating.
  I quietly went to my parent's room, slowly opening the door.
  The room was quiet and dark, it seemed messy with the lights off. I slowly turned the lights on, and what i saw... shocked me
  My mom was laying on the floor, unconscient.
  "Mom?!" I yelled, i quickly went to check if she was breathing.
  She wasn't
I started to panic,
"What will i do?!" I repeatly asked myself.
  I ran to my phone and called the emergency. I was so desperate i couldn't say anything slowly without stuttering.
  They said it would take 2 minutes, but it didn't.
  I stayed by her side all the time, checking if she would wake up, i tried some quick hacks i found on the internet, but it didn't worked.
  It was taking way more than 2 minutes, at this point i was so desperate, i just ran outside to call for the neighbours.
  While i was running, i accidentally bumped into Mafuyu
  "Huh? Aikazawa?"
  "Asahina! I don't know what happened, but my mom is unconscient!"
  "What?! Take me to her, i think i can help."
  I quickly took Mafuyu to my parent's room, where my mom was. She immediatally made a cardiac massage, then, she checked if my mom was now breathing. She was, i took a very long breath, "finally." I thought.
  "She probably wouldn't survive if a cardiac massage wasn't done soon." Mafuyu said, still mervous.
  "But thanks to you, she's still alive. Thank you, Asahina." I said, i had nothing to say but thanks. The ambulance quickly arrived then and took my mother to the hospital.
  Before i entered the ambulance, Mafuyu came to talk to me.
   "Hey! Aikazawa!"
   "What's up, Asahina?"
   "Please, tell me how she is tomorrow, okay?"
   "I sure will, Asahina, thank you again."
   "No problem, i'm glad i could help."
   Then, Mafuyu left, i entered the ambulance.
   The hospital was quiet, which only left me with more anxiety.
  "Mrs. Aikazawa?"
The nurse said, i quickly got up to talk to her.
  "What did she had, Miss?! Is she okay?!"
  "She is okay, but her problem is very dangerous."
   "What is it?!"
    "She has lung cancer."
    "WHAT?!"
   That was so shocking to me, i couldn't believe what she told me. How did that happen? And how will i pay for the treatment?!
  "I'm very sorry. Apparently, she fainted because her lung stopped."
  "I... i need some time to think. Will she be home today?"
  "Sadly, no, her lung can stop again anytime soon."
  "But, can i see her?"
   "No, the doctors are still doing some operations."
   "Okay... Thank you miss."
I was so surprised i couldn't say anything. I just went home.

                 The other day

  I went to school, i couldn't forget what happened the other day.
  "Good morning, Aikazawa."
   "Good morning, Asahina."
  "How is your mother? Is she okay?"
  "Well... she's not, she has lung cancer."
   "Really?! I'm so sorry for you..."
   "Thank you for helping me yesterday anyways."
   "Again, i'm glad i could help."

  Asahina is so sweet.
