The Ninja world is treacherous, but talent and fortune, was the saving grace to the shinobi of their respected villages. Newly selected Genin were split as per usual. After the Leaf Academy Graduation, the students were given a rank and assigned to a teacher in a group of three. Kakashi had turned down another trio this year, but for Guy, he was ready to train, fully wishing to exhibit the fiery flames of youth. Guy would first encounter his new team in an academy classroom. "I think it's best to provide an environment that's comfortable for them," Guy said to himself."
The three students, Neji Hyuga, Rock Lee, and Tenten would meet him around noon. "Call me Lee!" Rock Lee said with passion. "Though I cannot use Chakra, nonetheless I wish to become a great ninja and even become Hokage!"
The pursuit of the title Kage was a dream shared among all shinobi, and deep down it was within Lee. The talentless, persistent, little runt of the Hidden Leaf Village.
The other two looked at Lee with contempt. "How could someone who can't even use chakra become Hokage?" Tenten thought.
Neji decided to voice his opinion aloud. "You should give up!" He said angrily, Guy had noticed pain in his voice. "It is not your destiny to become a ninja, let alone Hokage."
However, Lee simply smirked. "I appreciate your concern for my safety, but no matter what," Lee took a pause, "I will NEVER give up!"
That statement had reminded Guy of himself, but it was only the first day. Guy questioned if Lee would really stick to his words.
