"That was some good food, "Grunas sighed as he leaned back, patting his full belly.

Ussla chuckled. She looked at Heskar, noticing that he barely touched the food. He only took a few bites but that's it. She thought maybe he just wasn't craving it. He looked out the window and spied something, or someone, suspicious. He leaned in a little, squinting his eyes.

The figure he saw was by the water. It was looking at the house. It's eyes glowed a soft red. Heskar narrowed his brows. Relma looked at him.

"You okay?", She asked, concerned.

"I'll be back," Heskar told them.

He stood up and went to the front door. Relma went after him. He looked at her with an intense stare. His amber eyes glowed dimly, silently telling her to stay put. She took the message and back down. Heskar turned back to the door and opened it. The figure was gone.

He walked to where he last saw him. He looked around, seeing if he can see clues. He saw a glimpse of something turning the corner. He followed suit. His steps are quiet as he can make them due to the weight of the life growing inside him. He stopped at the corner he saw the figure turn. He looked down the tunnel it turned into, seeing nothing but darkness.

A soft glow could be seen peeking out of a door at one side. Heskar pulled his sword out as he slowly approached the door. He peaked through the crack. He didn't see anyone, just candles and box. He opened the door wider, stepping inside. This was underneath Jhone and Ussla's house? He cautiously walked to the box that was on the table in between the candles.

Heskar looked over his shoulder, thinking he heard something. When nothing stirred, he looked back at the box. It was made of dark oak, crafted with expertise. He ran his finger over the top and brought it up to his nose. Blood. It smelled like blood. Why would a wood box smell like blood? He picked it up, shaking it a little. He heard something inside. Setting it back down, he slowly opened it.

His pupils dilated into slits. He backed away, his hand shaky. Did he really see what he think he saw? Inside the box, there was five bags of fetuses. All at different stages of pregnancy. Heskar felt like he was going to throw up. He bumped into a chair, almost falling over. The chair bumped into a bookshelf and a map fell out.

It rolled out to being a map of Novigrad. Heskar looked down at the map. All victims killed were marked. A big circle was over The Temple Isle. Heskar's heart was beating faster as he realized even further that he was in The Butcher's hideout. He quickly scooped up the map and turned to collect the box, but saw The Butcher himself holding the box in his arms.

Heskar, for the first time, was frozen. He couldn't move. The Butcher looked over his appearance and smirked. He darted to door. Heskar snapped out of his frozen state and went after him. The Butcher slammed the door in Heskar's face, locking it. He punched the door, hearing cracks in his knuckles. He growled and tried to look for another way out.

Heskar looked around, seeing a sconce out of place. He went to it, pulling on it. He heard a wall moving. He looked at it. Inside, it was lined with lit sconces. Heskar felt a strong kick from his daughter. He looked down at his belly and sighed. He patted his bump for confidence and started his way down the tunnel.

Silver sword in hand, he walked down the stone tunnel. It felt like he was walking for eternity. Then he saw a wooden door at the end. He hurried his way to the door and opened it. He found himself outside of the city, just underneath The Temple Isle. He walked on the sand, almost where the water touched his feet.

Heskar looked to the side, seeing a path that looked like it was leading back to Novigrad. He followed it, trying to run. It was painful to run, being pregnant and all. He saw Oxenfurt Gate, knowing he was close. He crossed the bridge, leaning on a nearby barrel to catch his breath.

He made back to St. Gregory's Bridge, expecting to get to the Jhone and Ussla's to tell the others what he found. As he ran past people, he heard a deep voice come from behind him. He stopped and looked over his shoulder. Three men stood with weapons in their hands. Heskar sighed. He didn't have time for a fight.

"Where do you think you're going? Where is that box you were running with?", The largest of the three men asked aggressively.

Box? He wasn't carrying a box. Then he thought about it. The Butcher had the box with the fetuses inside. Did he somehow make himself look like Heskar in the matter of seconds?

"I have no box," Heskar answered.

"He probably stashed it somewhere. Probably have a lot gold he wants to keep to himself," one of the other men speculated.

"Tell us where that box is," the largest man ordered.

"I don't have no box. Now, excuse me, I need to go," Heskar ended, turning to exit.

He then heard one of the men throw their club at him. He quickly dodged out of the line of the throw. The club scattered on the ground. He slowly turned back the the trio of men. The two smaller ones, noticing their mistake, turned and skedaddled. The largest man stood his ground. He wasn't afraid of one little Witcher.

"You Witchers are always causing problems. Either stealing innocent children from their homes or bringing havoc amongst civilized people," the man spat.

"Do you want to fight?", Heskar inquired, knowing the answer already.

Without warning the man, sprinted towards Heskar. He easily dodged the charge. The man was surprised and stumbled into a fruit stand, his head driving into a watermelon. Heskar shook his head and went about his business, going to Jhone and Ussla's house to tell the others what he found.
