Once upon a time...

Another boring day in this castle, not like I have a bunch of stuff to do anyway, unlike Joshua who doesn't stop for a second, I just walk around all day, I was currently reading a book in the garden, in the back of the castle

"Hannie." My brother slumps next to me on the floor

"Tired?" I ask putting my book to the side and looking at my brother, Joshua did look tired, he had eye bags under his eyes, his hair was all messy, and he did look skinnier than usual

"Shua, go rest." I get up and he looks up at me "I'm serious come." I help him get up

"I need to finish signing some papers, I can't rest right now." He gets up walking to the back entrance of the castle

"Oh please." I take his hand and drag him inside

"Oh! Masters." Our chamberlain Phillip bumped into us

"Hello, Phillip." I said with a smile "Could you prepare a bath for my brother and tell Darla to prepare his dinner, he is going to rest for the day." Phillip looks at my brother next to me and nods

"Will do." He walks to the kitchen

Phillip is an elder man, basically raised me and Joshua, because are parents were also busy, they didn't have time for us, but the people that worked in the castle would love to spend time with us

"Jeonghan, I'm only doing this... because I'm might pass out from not sleeping." My brother rests his head on my shoulder while we take the stairs to his bedroom

By the time we arrived at his bedroom, his bath was set up with a change of clothes on his bed and I believe his dinner was being brought up soon

"Rest." I look at my brother bright blue eyes, I kiss his forehead head and leave his bedroom

While walking back to the garden to grab my book, I bump into Darla one of our cooks

"Hello, master Jeonghan." She nods in a warm smile

"Hello Darla." I smile back

I pass by the big window of the castle noticing the sun already setting, as I walk to the garden doors I bump once  again with someone

One bumpy day huh?

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." I look up, the man wasn't that tall but I still had to look up to see who it was

"Your majesty, I was checking the estate for the night and I believe this is your book you left outside." The guard or the knight hands me the book

"Oh thank you." I noticed I've never seen this guard before "I'm sorry...I've never seen you here, are you new?" I'll be honest I'm a bit embarrassed for asking, imagine if he has been working here for at least months and I've never noticed him

"I was hired a week ago." He gives a smile, he wasn't wearing any armor so he isn't one of the knight guards who stay out side the gates "I walk around the estate, making sure nobody breaks in." I nod understanding

"Oh that's great, it's getting pretty late, you work over night?" I asked and he nods agreeing

"My positions changed during the night and I stay in the front gates." So is he knight...? He noticed my confused face and chuckles "I'm just a royal guard, your majesty."
