Yesterday was the last day of my first year in highschool and it's finally summer break! The bad thing is that I'm going to stay on my grandpa's farm the ENTIRE summer! Last time I went he made me help him build his chicken coop and I ended up breaking my wrist! Still, that was 3 years ago, so maybe he'll go easy on me this time, or not.
Anyways, I have to pack my stuff and I'm taking four suitcases which SUCKS to carry so I'll probably make my grandpa do it instead.

After the 7 hour drive, I'm finally here, and grandpa's already getting tools so I can help with his crops, we literally got here an hour ago and I haven't even put my things away yet!!!
I'm fully convinced that he only asks if I can come over for the summer so he can make me work. At least I have my phone and earbuds so I can listen to music, but the Wi-Fi is really crappy here so Spotify barely works.

The whole farm is surrounded by the Gifford Pinchot forest, and it's scary as hell, I get why grandpa tells me to stay on the farm. But I still wonder what would he do if I just went into the forest, it's not like it's evil.

I've gathered up the courage to go into the forest, but not today, tomorrow, today's the anniversary of my grandma's death and I'm gonna make me and grandpa lunch and spend the day with him. It's sad and all, but grandma went missing and nobody found any remains of her, it's sad. Maybe that's why grandpa doesn't want me going in the forest.
