'This is the most annoying thing ever' I rolled my eyes so hard that they nearly rolled into my head. I am standing in literal hallway right now and there is a full fleged crowd here as if a popular celebrity just appeared out of nowhere. As the crowd began to clear I saw the said 'celebrity' who would be the sole reason why I would be late for a class on the first day.
Now I might a vampire hunter and I might be resisting the urge to stab these leeches right here. But even more than that, I am proud woman, I would specifically love to teach that female-bullying-celebrity leech a lesson. Let me explain.
Upon a bit of inquiry I divulged that an innocent girl tripped and was about on fall of him. For which he was currently glaring at her. What a jerk! It's because of these kind of vampires that I hate the whole freaking species of vampires.
Lily joined me while I was still waiting for the way to clear so I could go to our next class. "Whoa!", Lily said, pronouncing every single word with a full stop,"he is drop dead gorgeous." No, no he's not. "Is that so? Well I suppose he is." I managed to say somehow, in a voice that said maybe, while trying to hide my frown with a plastered smile.
Alright, lesson 101 on how to react when your friend says a guy looks good- agree with her, even if you don't feel the same way, simply support her, don't just turn her down and numb her mood. That way we can ensure nothing goes out of the track. Don't get me wrong, Lily was really sweet and a good friend but one thing that she hates, is when I don't support her choice of taste in men. But, wait..
"Wait, why does it matter that he is good? Girl, you have a boyfriend!" I said, rather shocked, she wasn't that kinda girl, if you know what I mean. Lily's the adorable, loyal kind of girlfriend, who thinks about her love every single second.
"Tsk, it's not the same." She explained, "You know, he is someone you can admire or more accurately worship, perhaps, it's not the same kind of love I feel for my boyfriend." After a pause she continued, "Oh, it's the kind of love you feel for the men in the books you read."
I understood what sort of love she was referring to after all, I myself am hopelessly obsessed with men in books, so yeah it was understandable. But, but what I couldn't understand was how could someone possibly feel the same way for a person who in reality does exists, and is right in front of you, may I add. And a vampire at that.
While I kept myself engrossed in my conversation with Lily, the bell rang again and the crowd went on its own way. But he was still standing there, staring at me. 'All right, he wants a fight he's gonna get it right here.' I stared right back at him, with my eyes looking as ferocious as I could muster, with all the sleep that I would have loved to get in that torturous class.
I never hated people or disliked them unless the do something to get on my nerves. This mosquito however seems to be an exception to my 'don't judge a book by it cover' rule.
And now he was walking straight towards me just as I realized that Lily had left me to my thoughts, and now we were the only ones in the hallway, alone.
(well his bodyguard cum assistant still there but he was faced away from us and on the staircase, so yeah)
