He had bright blue eyes and black hair. He was stunning. I couldn't turn away.
I heard someone call out, "Enjoying the view?" Then laughing followed.
I blushed and looked down at my desk.
It was time for roll call. Ms. Andrews went to the front of the class room calling out names.
"Rachel Arlstien"
"Here"
"Franklin Berg"
"Here"
I zoned out for a while. Then I heard his name. I turned and saw him say 'here' when he was called.
His name was Alex Mill.
"Bonnibel Princeton"
"Here"

I kept hearing his name in my mind throughout the day. It was like a song that won't leave your head.
When I got home I took my anti-depressants like always, then headed to my room.
I had made no friends that day. I talked to no one but teachers. I thought someone was going to say 'hi' to me but they were saying it to someone else.
But that didn't matter. All I could think about was Alex Mill.
I learned a few things today. But not about any classes.
I only could hear things that were about him.
I overheard a conversation with Alex and his friend.
"Hey man, sup?"
"Nothing much, you?"
"Same"
"I heard you took a bad fall skateboarding over the weekend"
He was a skateboarder.
"Yeah, but I shook it off"
Someone called his friend's name.
"Gotta go, see ya later."
"Later"
I kept hearing that conversation in my head with his name. His voice, the way he spoke, was endearing. He was a skateboarder. He was tall. He was gorgeous.
That's all I needed to know to already have a crush on Alex Mill.
Little did I know, that crush, would be the best and worst thing that has ever happened to me.
