Chapter 3

The morning was too quick to arrive just like Athena had wished for she wanted to know more about Artemis and to go and train.

Athena and Artemis went to the forest to have some time alone. While there, Athena was able to connect with Artemis mentally, spiritually and physically. Athena was able to view the world in Artemis' eyes because of their connection.

The beast had the best view of the world. In Artemis' eyes the world was more colorful than the way humans, elves and dwarfs viewed it, at least that was what she assumed was the point.

"Do you want to fly?" An unknown voice said. Athena looked around but saw no one, the voice was of a thick texture in the ears and it was female.

"What i'm right here," the voice said again, startling her from her thoughts. "I'm sad you can't recognise my voice Athena," the voice said and then Artemis looked at Athena with the beautiful blue eyes. It was like Athena was looking right at her own eyes.

"Ooh my gosh! Can you talk?" Athena said in awe, "yeah is this when you are knowing?" Artemis said, rolling her big blue eyes hysterically. "I did not know that," she said, looking as though she was smiling for the first time in her life. "Now you know so answer hop on," Artemis said with authority in her voice.

"I'm your master though you are talking to me like that," she said as she hopped on to Artemis' back. "And I, on the other hand, have just as much authority as you." She said as she took off. "We are both supreme you know," she continued as she took off, "and you need to know that inasmuch as you order me I can also order." She said as she soared on the west side of the forest.

"What do you mean 'supreme'?" She asked as she viewed the nice forest of Elessar.

"You as well as me are very strong and most powerful creatures the world has ever seen," she said and Athena sensed a ting of pride from Artemis."Me! Why?" Athena asked, shocked. "You are a re-birth of Athena the goddess of war," she answered.

"That is why on the day of your birth the war ended but hate still remained. Your aunt Alala has something to do with your mother's death so just be careful with her." She said looking at her with worried eyes,"why do you say that?", "is that why you have been so private so as not to allow anyone in your mind and soul?" She asked as always, "That is why I did not allow her or anyone into my mind because she found out that I was suspecting she would have had me killed by her beast, which would have caused havoc and yet another war and she did not want to risk it." she said and then turned to the east.

After they reached the end of the forest, Artemis suggested they eat some meat. Worried as she was, Athena missed eating meat gravely just for the past two days so she agreed. Artemis hunted for a rabbit so Athena was able to season just fine for herself. Then she hunted for a bigger meal and ate it row just as she preferred. When they had finished they decided to return for the training.

Athena was in a fighting arena standing across Aella. She had little to no idea why she was there though she was given a sword that had Artemis's name inscribed on it. And Aella on the other side was making symbols in the air and orange light formed in the place of the symbol.

Athena recognised the symbol as the one on her thumb, Artemisia had said it was the most difficult of all the symbols that is why it was formed on her thumb.

"Let the fight begin!" An elf on the right top side of the arena said in a loud voice. "Fight!" Athena whispered under her breath to Artemis now infused to avoid interference, at least that is what she was told. It was very difficult to infuse Artemis for she did not trust that Athena would be safe with the other Elessarnians.
