Grace and Wes were hot on Isabella's heels, "Izzy" Wes called.
Isabella ignored them as she tried making her way to her house.
"Isabella!" Grace called, harshly grabbing the shorter girls injured wrist. "Ow! Get off of me!"
"Listen to me," Grace began, grip still on Isabella's wrist. "Look, I know you're scared right now, okay we all are. But we weren't all almost murdered last night. We are worried about you, but you know what I'm more worried about?"
Isabella just stared blankly at the blonde's in front of her.
"The fact that your head isn't in this,"

"We need you Isabella," Wes began.
"We need your brain in this and we need you to take a breath and get your head in the game," Grace let go of her friend's wrist.
Isabella rubbed her tender wrist,, not making eye contact. "Okay, I'm sorry"
"Don't apologize Iz, we're just worried about you" Wes added.
"I'm not made of glass"
"We know that, but right now you need to be careful, so please, go back inside, Mindy is going to freak out if you don't come back"
Isabella nodded. "Thank you guys, I needed that,"
Wes went to rub her shoulder, but hesitated. She rolled her eyes and hugged the taller man.

"Jesus, you're making me sick from all the hugs you're giving,"
Isabella pulled away, "Don't get use to it, trauma does weird things to me"
"I need to go, but be safe, please," Wes says, "You too"

"I'll walk you back to Mindy's,"
Isabella nodded, "So, when did you and Mindy become like a thing?"
Isabella shrugged, "It kind of just happened last night,"
Grace smiled and laughed slightly. "You know, in another lifetime, you and I would've been a hot ass couple"
"I don't disagree"
"I'm happy for you," Grace looks at her best friend.
"Thank you, I'm happy too,"

Isabella than made her way back inside, immediately being brought into a hug by Mindy, "Don't scare me like that Prescott,"
"I'm sorry, I was just mad,"
"I know, but never go off alone, okay?"
Isabella nods, rubbing her eyes, "I just hate everyone treating me like a child,"
"We are just being protective, you are like the heart and soul of this group,"

Isabella and Mindy then sat on the couch, Isabella resting her legs on top of Mindy's lap.
Isabella rolled up her sleeve, looking at her bruised wrist.
"How did that happen?" Mindy asks softly.
"Turns out, Ghostface doesn't like it when other people try to stab him," she joked.
Mindy smiled at her girlfriend, "You really tried to stab him?"
"I also punched him and slammed his hand in between my window. I also am pretty sure I broke my favourite debate trophy in that process,"
Mindy looked at her confused, "I smashed it over his head,"
"Mother like daughter," Mindy laughed.

The laughing and fun stopped when they heard police sirens. Isabella shot up and ran to the front door, looking outside, her heart dropping when she saw them turn towards Wes and Judy's road.
"No," she mumbles.
When she see's the ambulance drive down, Isabella began running.
She sprinted down her road and didn't stop running, Mindy was behind her, Isabella didn't stop running until she paused in front of Wes' house. There was a pool of blood on the law, she watched in horror and Judy was put in a body bag.
"Please let Wes be alive," she whispered as Mindy came up beside her, "Holy shit,"
When the second body bag came out, Isabella stumbled back, "No, no" she shook her head as tears streamed down her face.

Mindy took a shaky breath, grabbing at Isabella's hand, "Maybe, maybe there is a chance that-"
Isabella shook her head, "He's gone Mind, I guess they do care about the sequels,"
"Prescott!" Isabella whipped her head around, spotting none other than Gale Weathers.
"Gale? Why are you here? Please tell me my mother isn't here,"
"She's not, what happened?"
"Judy and her son," she mumbles back.
"Excuse me Isabella," Gale says moving past her, spotting Sam.

"Oh my god," Isabella's eyes widened.
"What is it?" Mindy asked.
"Grace" is all she said before Isabella was off again, Mindy called out for her, but she kept running.
