Evan's POV:

The "therapy" session from Friday was absolutely horrible. Now some guy I've only known for a few days knows my trauma, my deepest darkest secrets, and other things. Fuck you, Cassidy.

Cindy was sick, so she wasn't at school today. It was lunch, and I saw a familiar face. His name was Marcus. He was Cassidy's first ex. (I keep track). I couldn't tell what he was talking about from where I was sitting, as I was quite literally 3 tables away from him. I was sitting with Gregory and Cassidy. Cass kept trying to pry into what I told Gregory, and Gregory kept telling her to back off. Guess he is a man of his word. "Did he tell you anything abou-" "Cassidy. For the 5th time. That is confidential information. Yes, he's your boyfriend. But he's allowed to have privacy and keep secrets." Gregory interrupted. Cassidy rolled her eyes. I still wonder how I can put up with her. Cassidy looked at me. "Who are you staring at?" She asked. "Marcus. One of your exes. Seems like he's moved on pretty quickly." I responded. "Yeah, but I was going through boyfriends like flies." She added. "Respectfully, I don't care." I said. Something in my gut told me he was trash talking Cassidy. What a man-whore.

I made an excuse to dump my tray, which I was going to do, but I wanted to eavesdrop on what Marcus was saying as well. He was an asshole. "My ex. Her name was Cassidy. She was so naive, it was funny." Marcus joked. That, was the first thing I heard. I pretended to dump my tray as I heard him. "Her new boyfriend is stupidly overprotective." Marcus stated. "Isn't he the emo of the school?" His presumed new girlfriend asked. "Yeah. And he's a jackass." Marcus replied with confidence. The whole time I was dumping my tray, he was trash talking Cassidy and I. Bitch. I came back, and pretended I didn't hear anything. At least he wasn't the worst ex she had..

Cassidy's POV:

Evan had just gotten back from dumping his tray. Something was off. I could tell. I've known Evan long enough to tell when his mind is elsewhere. Gregory was going through notes he took of when he had the therapy session with Evan. I kept trying to glance over his shoulder, but he told me to knock it off, and eventually made me sit across from him, while Evan was sitting next to Gregory. What secrets could Evan possibly have, that even his "therapist" won't tell me? I thought he told me everything, but, maybe he didn't..

"Evan," Gregory asked Evan in a low tone, making sure only us three could hear. "When do you want the next therapy session?" Evan shrugged. "Most likely on a weekend, or another Friday." Evan responded, seeming distracted. "Alright. This Friday then." Gregory decided, and Evan just nodded in agreement. Evan was staring in the direction of my ex, Marcus. What's his problem. I'm surprised Gregory hasn't questioned it. Maybe Evan told him something relating to this, I don't know.

Gregory then patted Evan on the shoulder and pointed at something on his notes. Evan looked at the notes, nodded, and whispered something inaudible to him. Gregory nodded, and wrote something down. What the hell is going on?? I left to dump my tray. Why is everyone keeping secrets from me?

Gregory's POV:

"So, I wrote it wrong?" I asked, seeing Cassidy left. "Yes, you dumbass." Evan clarified, rolling his eyes. "What do you have against Marcus anyway?" I asked, correcting my writing. "He's an asshole. Even before he dated Cassidy, he made fun of my style." Evan responded. "He also said I'd be a school shooter." "Damn. Seems like a piece of work." I said, then motioned that Cassidy was coming back. Evan nodded, and went on his phone. He told me his password for his phone. I don't know why, I don't necessarily need it, but it could be helpful in an emergency.

I put my notes away and secured them in a hidden pocket. Cassidy's the type to go through things if she really wants to know something. Which is annoying. The bell rang, and lunch ended. Cassidy didn't share a class with Evan and I in this next class. So I'd have some time to discuss things about the notes as well.

Evan and I went to class. We were silent the whole walk there. I did learn some disturbing things about him on Friday. I don't think I'll ever see him the same way everyone else, including Cassidy sees him. We sat next to each other. He was drawing on the desk, while I was just paying attention to the instructions, and also reviewing my notes. I brought them with me, because I don't want Cindy going through them, and sharing the information with Cassidy.

Evan's POV:

I fucking hate school. Unlucky for me, Marcus is in this damned class. I still don't trust Gregory, but it's not like I necessarily have a choice. He just has to keep his promise of keeping his mouth shut. I overheard Marcus make a remark about how he "only dated Cassidy to look good" and "never loved her". Damn bitch. He'll pay..

-Timeskip, after School-

Gregory's POV:

I walked back to my dorm. Cassidy told me she was going to find Evan, since we couldn't find him after 6th period, which was strange. What is this guy up to now..?When I went in my dorm, I checked my notifications, to see if he told the GC where he was going. Nothing. He hasn't been online all day. Where'd he go? He said he likes smoking, so hopefully he just went somewhere to smoke..

Cassidy's POV:

I have no idea where Evan is. He disappeared during 6th, claiming he was using the restroom. It's been an hour. I hope Bethany didn't get to him. I asked around, and nobody knows where he went. Gregory said he'd check the GC, and DMs to see if he said anything. Cindy wasn't helping because she was in the nurse's office for being sick. I hope Evan isn't hurt..

-The next day at school-

Gregory's POV:

A student went missing. It wasn't Evan. It was Marcus. Evan was interrogated, and claimed he was getting fresh air, and a nice smoke. Which couldn't be denied, since he definitely smelled like cigarettes. But he was scolded for smoking, and got off with a warning. Cassidy thinks Marcus was kidnapped, since he doesn't live in a dorm, and lives in a sketchy neighborhood. I don't really care about the matter. I never knew Marcus, other than what I was told from both Evan and Cassidy. Evan had fallen asleep in class, which is normal. He does that when he's bored. Police have interrogated everyone who knew Marcus, and have no lead. They have dismissed the idea of a student being responsible, since they've gotten nowhere. The teacher was saying if anyone knew anything, to tell the officers. What a long school year this'll be..
