Our story takes place in Golden City, well known as "The City Of Stars." A place where the rich lived lavishly, having everything and more in their hands, while the not so fortunate ones struggle to survive day by day.

However, despite being called Golden City, there a bit of rust to it. The city seems to be critical or "a place where status defined your fame" meaning that the rich always wanted to be relevant no matter what and they'll do whatever it takes to do so.

If you're related to the wealthy ones, people might respect you, be jealous of you, try to take the success from you or worship you.

"You get everything you want!" "I bet you're spoiled by your parents or relatives!"  "You get to continue the legacy your family made or be successful just like them!" That's what they all say about them.

What they all don't know is that it's never always the case...

Especially when it comes to a certain someone...

Our protagonist for the story is named "Benjamin Fairest." A light blue haired boy that's is the older son of the famous celebrity family, The Fairests.

He lives with the Henchmen and 3 of the members of his family.

First off was a tall, dark blue haired male that is none other than Frank Fairest, who goes by the name Father Fairest.

He's a retired rap battle whose name is well known by everyone around the city, either by the youth or by generations before him.

His voice, charm and confidence was his claim to fame but nowadays he lives very well off with his beautiful wife, his intelligent daughter and his talented son.

Speaking of the wife, her name is Marilyn "Mother" Mairest. She shared the same shade of light blue as Benjamin on her long hair and wears variety of beautiful clothing.

She does have some singing chops, however she's known to be a model and actress of the city.

No matter how old she is and no matter how much she aged, her beauty remains the same naturally.

She loves to have all eyes on her and spending time with her charming husband and her two gifted kids.

Finally, we have the young daughter that also has light blue hair in pigtails but with a tint of dark blue on the bangs and wears glasses over her green eyes. Miku Mairest.

A young singer rising to the top at a very young age. She's also very intelligent with the ability to speak fluent Japanese and also sing in Japanese makes her stand out from any other singer of the city.

Despite her great intelligence and being a rising star, she's also known to have a genuine kind heart to everyone around her.

At first glance, The Fairests seems to be like a "picture perfect family." They seem to be genuinely caring to each other and wanting to follow each other's legacies no matter what.

However, behind the curtains... It's not the case, not even close. It was all a facade...

Frank and Marilyn are the complete opposite of what they all said, they only cared about their name still being out and about.

In order for it to work, they want their kids to become like them.

They wanted them to become singers like them, just so they can remain famous and gain success out of them.

But there is one thing that stands in their way. One of their kids wanted to pursue a different career, one involving paint.

The older son Benjamin Fairest, an example to the young sibling, the new "face" of the music industry rather wanted to be an artist. Using his paint to make anything that comes in his mind.

Let's just say once they heard what Benjamin wanted to do... They didn't take it well.

Frank and Marilyn always wanted things to go perfectly and going their ways, but when someone refuses to comply to them. They'll act toxic, cruel and cold to Benjamin...

However when it comes to Frank when he's angry or might be holding a lit cigarette between his fingers... He can become physical...

Because of their actions and behaviors, Benjamin has to do anything he can to please them or try to convince them that painting is what he wanted to do and have their support.

No matter what, it was not enough and they'll never listen.

Another thing was that his childhood best friend "Grace Dearest" was manipulated by both Benjamin's parents and her own parents into thinking her and Benjamin were future husband and wife and that they're fate was to be together.

Grace has always been over sheltered by her parents growing up and has always fallen into their manipulation and lies no matter what they are. She was so into the idea that she ended already claiming the name "Grace Fairest."

Miku on the other hand never gotten the cruel treatment because she's already a singer and has already lived the life her parents wanted. Labelling her as "The golden child." But she is always pushed away by them from having a relationship with her big brother because according to them: "He isn't worthy for her time or presence."

Benjamin's life was hell!

From the physical wrath of his father, to the words coming from his two faced mother, the complete obliviousness from everyone, even from his childhood best friend fed into the lies around her, the young sister being pushed away from forming a relationship...

The warped mind of thinking he'll never be enough unless he became someone everyone expected from him and not to mention if he thought living with ADHD and autism was enough of a burden to him, he also has to live with PTSD, anxiety and depression.

He felt that there is no end to his suffering unless he either comply to them, leave his so called home or even take life away with blood on his hands. Which god forbid he'll hurt himself or kill himself for his freedom.

The only thing that keeps him going was painting but he just wished for outside support and for someone to see him as him. Not the person everyone see him as.

Benjamin felt that he was trapped and he cannot escape... Until one day... He came across a fellow artist.

A notorious graffiti artist that people aren't fond of him or his rebellious ways.

A tanned, short orange hair male was named Pico N. Grounds. A nephew to two police officer brothers who is a year older than Benjamin.

He'll come across Benjamin one day and change his life.

Either for the better or worse will be a mystery but one thing is clear is that they'll form a very close bond to each other.

A bond that Benjamin will wish it'll stay and that it was escape from the cruelty from his so called family.

But before we get to the real stuff, let's start at when and where Pico and Benjamin first met in Highschool.

Where Benjamin's first year in high school and out of home school begins. Where Pico's life is uneventful and has always looked at as a delinquent.

What'll happen if these two fellow artists crossed path? Find out soon.
