The five girls returned to normal.

"If only I could get my hands on those five wizards right now!" Aisha thundered. A sphere of water formed in her hands. "Huh? What just happened?"

"You triggered the water element," Electra replied. "You see, each element has a different trigger, whether emotional or otherwise. Yours is the feeling of anger and a sense of protectiveness."

"Oh, that's cool!"

"Well, how did I create that firewall when Ogron attacked me?" Bloom asked.

"Fear triggered you to deflect the attack. The fire element, for you at least, was released by fear and a sense of protectiveness."

"Ah!"

"I have yet to find out what mine is," Musa pondered. "But what do elemental triggers have to do with our new plan?"

"We can use them to our advantage when those wizards come back again." Electra tapped her ring. "Will, please come to me."

A holographic projection of Will appeared. "Hello, Electra," she said. "How can I help you?"

"Can you please explain to my friends how elemental triggers work?"

"Of course. Just like us, we have various triggers, whether positive or negative. Positive emotions such as determination and confidence can trigger one element, and negative emotions such as anger and frustration can cause a more powerful reaction. However, negative emotions can be harmful and corrupt you."

"How come my trigger wasn't either negative or positive when I attacked Valerie? I was just thinking."

"Ah, that's a good question. Sometimes, triggers can be neither positive nor negative. Some triggers are neutral, like yours. A deep, strategic thought is powerful enough to trigger any element. I'm glad I could be of assistance."

The picture vanished.
