The sun shined through the curtains, glistening on the skin of a very familiar heroine, Nejire Hado. She was in bed, snuggled comfortably under the sheets. She stirred slightly, stretching before sitting up. She rubbed the sleep off her eyes and yawned. Checking the time, She got out of bed and headed to the kitchen. She looked over at the living room, smiling softly at the sight she was greeted by. There, seated on the couch, her husband, Izuku Midoriya, sat. She walked over to him, looking over his shoulder to see their bundle of joy cradled in his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.
"Good morning, handsome." She said, her voice still hoarse.
Izuku looked up at her and smiled. He looked back down at the baby and chuckled softly. "Looks like Mama's awake, little one."
Nejire giggled softly and sat next to him. She looked down at her child, gently caressing her cheek. "When did she wake up?"
"Right after I did. She was crying. Luckily, her daddy came to the rescue." Izuku smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Aomori, such a sweet little girl."
Nejire smiled and kissed his cheek. "I'll go ahead and get Issei ready for preschool." Midoriya nodded and watched her leave to Issei's room.
He looked back down at Aomori, who babbled softly and chewed on her hands. Izuku chuckled softly and gently pulled her hand away from her mouth.
"Don't chew on your hand. You'll hurt yourself." He grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. "Let's watch your favorite show or something. Get your mind off of... well... whatever your baby brain is thinking."
Aomori babbled softly and looked at the TV screen. She smiled and clapped her hands as her favorite show appeared on screen. Izuku smiled softly and gently ruffled her hair. Aomori looked up at Izuku and smiled, babbling softly. Izuku chuckled softly and playfully tickled her belly.
"Looks like someone's in a happy mood." He smiled softly, the soft giggles from Aomori pulled on his heart strings.
Aomori looked up at Izuku and reached out to touch his cheek. She babbled softly and out of nowhere. "Dada..." She said softly, patting Izuku's cheek.
Izuku's eyes widened, his heart skipping a beat. Tears welled up in his eyes. Hearing Aomori speak her first word brought a tsunami of joy. He smiled brightly, standing up and tossing Aomori in the air and catching her. Aomori giggled as she was tossed, her little arms flailing around.
Nejire walked in, a tired, groggy Issei following behind her. She looked at Izuku with a confused expression. Izuku looked over at her and smiled. He walked over and kissed her, capturing her lips in a tender, gentle kiss. Nejire smiled softly and kissed him back.
"Something you wanna tell me?" She whispered against his lips.
Izuku chuckled and pulled away. He looked down at Aomori and smiled. "I think this one can tell you." Nejire looked down at Aomori with a confused expression.
"Really? How so?" She asked, reaching down to scoop Aomori into her arms.
Aomori looked up at Nejire and smiled. She babbled softly and reached up to grab at Nejire's hair. "Ma... Mama..." She spoke softly, looking up at Nejire.
Nejires eyes widened, tears already streaming down her cheeks. She smiled brightly and hugged Aomori close to her. Aomori giggled softly and nuzzled closer to Nejire. Nejire giggled softly and looked over at Izuku.
"She said, mama. I can't believe it!" She squealed happily and pampered the baby's face with kisses.
Izuku chuckled softly and nodded. "She said dada just a minute ago." Nejire looked up at him in disbelief.
