This story starts with me scrolling through my childhood photos on my way to the office.
It is a delightful day and I'm optimistic for today.
We have an important meeting today, we're going to discuss our new product which is specifically made for acne-prone skin.
It's been a task for the last two months, but we've managed to come through with a wonderful idea just at the right time.
Holi is around the corner and the quality of colour in the market generally harms our skin.
Especially sensitive skin. While all this I forgot to introduce myself.
Hi, I'm Anushka Singh
I'm the owner of my skincare brand, Swastika.
We've created this brand with utmost care and dedication.
We've only appointed female staff as the brand aims to create products, particularly for women. As I reach my office, my team is ready with the presentation. I ask all of them to be present in the meeting room after five minutes.
I go into my office and perform my daily pooja, without it I don't start my day.
After my pooja, I enter the meeting area and listen to some ideas about packaging and marketing, we wrap up the meeting in less than a hour.
After the meeting, I usually check my emails to answer customer grievances personally.
I read an email"Hi team swastika,
I've been using your products for a while and they've helped me a lot
I recommend people your brand
Love using your products."As I was reading the mail an excellent idea came to my mind, I called my secretary and asked her to arrange a second meeting with the staff as soon as possible.
After 10 minutes, we started another meeting.
I pitched an idea,
Me:- Why don't we shoot the launch of our new mist with our customers rather than models?
We should be emailing our long-time regular customers asking them if they would want to work with us.
These products are for them after all.
Ananya- okay.
We would get onto it.
(she is my secretary and excellent at her job)we finished our meeting and I went into my office to continue the rest of the work.
I talked to different department heads about the progress.
Soon it was lunchtime and I had to meet a longtime friend for lunch.I left the office and sat in my car to go to the restaurant. While on our way something terrible happened.
To be continued.....
